A game can be as fast as that in real life BUT professional games slow down in periods so that everyone can regain their breath and calm things down. FIFA doesn't do this because it allows everyone to use the sprint button 24/7 and not using the sprint button is just as fast. Every single player is fast too, there is no difference between them. SLIDERS / DB Edits will be essential this year I think.

- no player has any weight to them. Inertia, that was excellent in the earlier FIFAs, has gone completely, so you can "ninja turn" or pull off that trick you love.......

- when a player is tackled, the player will always either ride the challenge or jump over the tackler, this rarely happens in real life, the player would fall over and get the free kick, breaking up and slowing down the game

All of this contributes to the game speed you see here. *sighs* Hopefully my games vs. the AI will be better.

i never have used sliders/db edits but still have been able to achieve slower speeds. whatever traits/individuality they have developed is spot on.
the game only needs real world physics & textures.

now this is one aspect that can be improved.
but i don't see it coming in the current gen.

its not okay to slow down for a free kick and then accelerate to breakneck speeds the next instant.

i don't care about CPU vs CPU games.
i only want the real thing on the pc & that's HUMAN vs HUMAN.

actually the 'being human' personality feature is still missing in this game.
maybe the technology is not there yet but i would love to see individual different player reactions for every situation & not generic animations.

1. Players who run too much should lose stamina a lot faster than they currently do. That'll encourage users to slow down the game at intervals to conserve energy. A slight reduction in the overall speed of the game wouldn't be out of question.

2. Players need to be attracted to the ball and not the opposing player during play. The fact that EA implemented the "loose ball" animation made the lobbed through balls even easier, because only the receiver of the ball was attracted by it, whereas the defender was just going towards the player.

3. When the ball is free, players don't tend to be attracted to it until you reach a certain radius of the ball, which coupled with EA's horrible auto-switch mechanism, makes it comically annoying to get the ball.

4. The lack of urgency in the team to get into good positions irrespective of the relevant attributes and work rates shows that the "randomizer" algorithm was not properly implemented and definitely needs to be looked at again.

Fix all this and the game is good to go. Graphically, EA has done a good job, agreed, there are games with a lot better graphics, but I don't think it should be the main priority unlike the gameplay. Other than that, I'd only wish for the career mode to be like FIFA Manager with a full-fledged real-life management simulation.

Yep. Not for the entire game though, of which I did mention. I've witnessed premier league games where it just goes mental for a good 5 - 10, and after it you think, "phew!!". I've also witnessed games where its slow, like, REALLY slow.

FIFA does not have the whole simulation, it has just the "exciting" part of it.

Yep. That would do a great deal of damage to the running part of the game. Funny thing is that PES had this and people wanted it removed, so they have. You will never win on this side of things.

The work rates don't make any difference in FIFA. Although both FIFA and PES have this problem these days.

what exciting? think of it this way.
if a real game was to be even like FIFA 16 gameplay..i wouldn't watch it.

i was only talking about bringing realism in the game.
try playing with real-world gameplay on a bland artificial turf without 3d grass like FIFA 14 FULL. it just wouldn't feel right.

definitely not in default FIFA. but it comes to life in the modded game.
TFI is there as an undercurrent. you only have to unravel it.

if you thought 15 was awful..you shouldn't have looked forward to anything different in FIFA 16 ;)

I saw you speak alot about fifa 15 but i remember that you have not bought the full game and you play demo15 or a pirated game. There is a huge difference between demo and the last version 1.8. That`s why, people who bought fifa15 see very little difference this time between fifa 15 full and some videos of fifa 16 (demo).
By the way, from what I've seen so far the game did not meet my expectations. Same robotic and unnatural movements. I wish something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNI-I8-7BbI

i also see very little difference between original demo & preview videos of FIFA 16.

but using proper gameplay mods addresses many of these problems.

tell me..which FIFA game last met gamer's expectations?

the answer is pretty simple: NO ONE!

The women's video actually look the most intresting to me. It's nice to play with no generic faces and new models.

But I can't understand EA's logic, why do they only include the last 5 seconds of a national anthem? Just let it play from start to finish. Those who don't like it can can skip it.

I think they do make a difference. I've seen noticeable differences while playing FUT.

there's no realism with stadiums full of crowds at every match .. especially at women's matches .. we need slider to adjust crowd ..

Really don't understand any of the complaints on this thread about game speed, animations, crowds, etc.
THE GAME LOOKS AND PLAYS EXACTLY LIKE EVERY OTHER FIFA FOR THE PAST FIVE YEARS OR MORE.
What is it that are some of you expecting here?

i wouldn't agree with the looks part..FIFA 15 is miles ahead of FIFA 14 in terms of realistic graphics.

Maybe but there is a slight detail that makes the difference with the previous versions, and someone said it also on here: the inertia.

In vanilla 15 players feels like sliping on ice, and the turns are way to fast and easy, the whole thing feels weightless and unnatural. Made to content kiddies and teens i bet...

The video with the supposed gameplay of pes demo is fantastic but i think we have to wait 10 more years to have a game like this (unless you have a supercalculator of the size of a cupboard at home :-) ) Its a betting game, rush football i think but it looks fabulous (GK seems not better then in fifa or pes though ;) )
