They can make an alternative gameplay, realistic for offline and an online set that loads server side once online modes are chosen.

yeah, they can, they should, but they won't. that EA rep also said that they were working on features years in advance and releasing them slowly to make sure that everything's perfect (yeah right). so basically all the graphic engine shenanigans they've brought out were planned a few years ago. Just brought out late.

I'm not going to bash EA, I just don't like how they hype up features that
turn out lackluster.

I appreciate their efforts but I don't want to keep spending my money if
they're only going to tend to the online side of the game.

I wouldn't care so much if they were to fix bugs in career mode and make
the AI a bit more realistic.

I look at it as EA main focus is money and that is fine but give everybody
what they want or meet in the middle between off/online players.

quite right. A career mode revamp would spark an interest again. The game lacks the dynamic nature imo. It gets monotonous after a few days since there're just 1 or 2 overly hyped new features to explore in the game every year

Our modders community made a realistic gameplay, so i bet, them at EA, as professionnal devloppers, can achieve it also (not sure though haha).

But their posture is rubbish. Focusing on arcade to content online kiddies and pace whores make them loose the sim lovers to Konami (i wonder why, its crap also, but gameplay is a bit more sim based).

Why don't they do something like a switch in the game settings before launching the game, where you could choose between an arcade or an approching real football gameplay? That would bring back the sim players and certainly give a severe blow to Konami's game.

The sliders settings in game are a good idea, must be said, but its far from enough regarding the overall speed of the game and the non sensic vanilla AI behaviour.

Thanks our modders, speed hack and my own experimentation with sliders i achieved to get a slow simulation gameplay but if i could have it "out of the box", plus the possibility to go online for "just for fun" games, i would not consider again switching to PES.

I agree with him, I would prefer realistic gameplay but a balance between speed and realism is difficult to acheive.

Remember, most people play this game on default 5 - 6 minutes a half (i play 7 mins). The last thing you want to see is the AI or yourself having to pass around the back 4 for 2/3 minutes per half. The game struggles to make 5/10 shots a game in an AI match at default settings!

I did achieve a version of my GP tweak where the game was much slower but I was so incredibly bored that I increased the attacking speed again. They will see that too.

The big issue is that the AI doesn't have enough diversity, options or intelligence in its locker to actually do things differently. (PES is a little better). The AI does not follow tactics and the tactic options available are very poor. The players do not have proper "traits" so that a dribbler like Montero, Sterling etc play exactly the same way as a center back like Huth in the same position. One thing make makes me laugh is that, even if you have "long shot taker" as a trait, they still do not try long shots!!

even after all this, i have still bought the game as it really does entertain me for the odd half hour to one hour of career mode.

They've even added some nice little additions too, so I want to start up my next career ASAP

Same goes for 'new goalkeepers'. Well, these new goalkeepers let in goals from halfway line and in order to score a 1 on 1 you just have to run round them.

Well the 'good' news is that we barely have any 'new' broken features for fifa 16

I just dont get it... why is pes16 so much hypted? I Played the Demo and it was absolut bullshit for me. Graphics looks shit, gameplay doesnt feel good for me atmosphere is Like an Old 2005 game... i really dont get it... if i get improved Version of fifa 15 in fifa 16 Its okay for me...

bad graphics..bad animations..sucks..

On my PS4... It Looks awful... my opinion fifa looks 10 Times better. The only thing i Like on pes is the shots Are much faster and more powerful...

yes..some aspects like gamespeed & shots is good in PES..but that is not enough to warrant a buy in 2015.
looks more like a game built for 2005

They look harder than they should be actually.
Yet I must admit that the speed and the gameflow in the PES videos I've seen look spot on. I can't wait to try the PC demo (if you're wondering... No, it's not out yet ).
