I have a small issue
I recently reinstalled Fifa and obviousely I also reinstalled the mod (V.5). All is fine and well except the fact that a ton of players have blank names. How can I solve this?

Who uploaded new 7.0 version, if beta is not supporting this mod anymore?

What Happened to the latest 6RC version? There was already season 14/15, and now in the 7.0 there is 13/14 back :/

V7.1RC1 Released

Hello all,

Thanks for all the kind words and again sorry for not being that much active.

About V7.0: This was a stable version, but without many changes, just some clean-ups and some fixes provided by your feedback. I didn't had the time to post a changelog, but no 'big' changes were made.

About V7.1RC1:
- Changed start year 2013 to 2014 (again): After some tweaking I've found out a change in a script file was needed to get it to work correctly (schedule, transfers, loans, etc.). Let me know if you are interested in what changes I made.
- Free-agents: all players that had a contract till 2014, are now free-agent. You may need to move players to the correct team yourself, like Sagna/Lewandoski, etc.
- Updated Database to latest EA provided one (29-06-2014)
- Player-retirement: hope this will solve (some) young aged player retirement
- Removed online-gaming support, since it just keeps throwing sync errors otherwise
.. and some more things I'm forgetting.

When installing this mod:
- Don't forget to regenerate
- Don't forget to reset your squads (!)

If the first game of the season crashes, try to sim. the first game instead.
Loading a new career will take some time due the increased free-agents.

PS. I removed most packages from other developers; not because there where bad, but simple because I couldn't maintain them any longer.
But I know you guys are smart enough to find them on this forum. :P

Shaw and Herrera were transferred after this version was put up. This version has been up for a couple weeks; he was just explaining it.

Do you know if it is possible to get rid of the 6 month period before you can sell a recently purchased player. I mainly want to use it for the first transfer window to get rid of players that I don't want in my team that were purchased in the summer of '13

You are right, I don't have the time to do transfers at the moment. So I'm just focus on main improvements.
And yes.. EA doesn't update their squads to season 2014-2015, properly because they want you to buy FIFA 15. :P

I thought more files have a reference for a recent singing, just go to all the files with Notepad++ and regenerate.

I'm really interested in getting know, what you've changed in scripts getting this work with Start-Year 2014???

See function Trigger_AboutToInitMode() & Trigger_NewSeasonStarted( seasonNumber ) inside eventtriggers.lua.
For some reason changing this one value (season) up (from 0 to 1), it would schedule correctly.
But I could be mistaken and just didn't notice it correctly. :P

Thanks to Foxyf76, I have found the code in gtndatareveal.csv to remove "fog of war":
FamousPlayerIntRep,3, - default. Player attributes hidden until scouted
FamousPlayerIntRep,1, - reveals all stats for all players including OVR

It doesn't work for me. Should i regenerate after installing the mod?

How did you edit the file? Did you use Notepad++?
Note it is only needed to change the number (from 3 > 1)

Yep, you will need to regenerate. It may also be necessary to start a new career.

beta, please tell me, what if i install the latest BCP 7.1, with database, then i regenerate files, and then install the latest ver of Moddingway mod? Will it be ok? Because i want to have sliders from your mod with all the gameplay to be changed by you, but with latest database made from mdwm

Also i deleted saves (with my sliders...) and now when i enter in the game, all sliders are at 50, and i don't know if Your sliders are working underneath or what? Please clear this up for me

I'm sorry guys, I tried to play a full career mode season yesterday: same crashes. The problem is that there are to many free-agents, team-management isn't done, etc.
I hoped the game itself would (automatically) address these issues, but for some reason it is causing (db) corruption, resulting in a crash.

I have moved V7 to unstable, but I can't promise to build a stable version any time soon. I tried almost everything, .. maybe it has something todo with the league tables that I changed? Maybe to many free-agents.. It all takes so many time to test, that it may be better to wait for FIFA 15.
