The above statement is such overused piece of crap. I hate that personally.
The companies selling games just don't want to see that there is huge piracy problem even on Xbox 360 where you can get games even 2 weeks before official premiere.
Blaming only PC users to justify developers is just to rub salt into PC users wounds who were robbed of many games.
Plus not speaking about FIFA here, the games right now, are short, are dumbed down so Sunday players can finish them, there are no demos to most games.
Now don't get the wrong idea here, but I did torrent games just to check if they even play on my PC. When I got hooked to the game though, I bought original straight away.
Thanks to that procedure I have avoided spending money on complete trash of games.
Piracy is something you can't fight. The battle is lost. If you start using DRMs or Games for Windows Live to fight vs it, you're hurting people who bought original game. Not pirates who laugh their a**es off.
