i try to do what i can.

i know people get pissed off when i keep things for myself, but i do share most of my fifa mods.

i have released the db, new set pieces, winter transfers, & many kits already this year.

i think thats fair on my part.

out of all i do for members here, i dont think its wrong if i keep something i created for myself.

i see it the same way, yet people take that offensively for absolutely no reason whatsoever.

part of the main reason i have the rep i have & why people dont like me.

guess its the love of the game..it does that to people lol
they want everything and cant wait to have it..EA usually messes many things in the original game so this place is like the final sanctuary for the lovers of the game..similar to wut u might see in a post apocalypse society lol

well actually i have never installed any of fidel's patches into my fifa directory.

here is what i do.

d/l fidel's patch.
create a new folder.
install his patch to the new folder.
now i have all the files, not yet imported by fifafs.

so now i can test them individually or all at the same time.
the exe file just installs the files in the fifa directory & starts up
fifafs.

inside the folder where i install it is the bat file to install the patch.
only difference is i now control what file gets installed by leaving/removing the file(s)
from the folder.

if i need to decompress the file, i just use fm11 to browse to the created folder & it works as if its the fifa directory.

file(s) dont have to be imported into bigs to work.
the game exe reads from bigs first all the way to the main directory last.
hence the way the folders containing files works such as sceneassets & ui folder.

but what do i know, ive just been editing fifa for years.

Surprise surprise, you know what? I always always carry on the above mentioned steps because I dont like exe patches and like total control of what I want and what not. Only thing is we never discussed about it, we all have got the FIFA tools, we have to use it acc to our choice and likings.

@ Fidel & Regularcat: I would be very nice if you combine the HG with the Reg's DB and put them in one AUTO-INSTALL pack, so everyone will easier to play the new FIFA 11 !
