here i'm showing my progress researching about kitmaking in fifa 11.
right now i'm trying to figuring out how the engine assigns to each color, each texture (in the bump map). I haven't found any signs of selection through RGB nor luminosity. Besides from the bump/masking it also stores some specular info which makes it more difficult.
here is a screenshot of my last round of test to show how different colors are used.
if anyone has seen this kind of blending please help it's driving me mad.
maybe later today i'll be uploading a template with the UVWs extracted directly from the models and the clean models with all the shirt variants.
Edit1: Breaking news! i just found that between the colors corresponding to the same fabric the levels of green were similar, now to find what is giving the specular level.
