Good Morning World, Here I am (Jevrej) to provide a strategy guide for the online gamers who are at a major disadvantage when playing the fully-game mastered likes of Detrimental9, ASDGiggs, TheOnlyCosmo, XXVSTrxx, and Jevrej(me).
The key to the game is passing quickly and pressing Making the run button. BUT, when you pass, HOLD R2 button(calldefend/walk button), this will freeze the defensive players and let you have an extra second to pass the ball. You must be quick, and as soon as you pass the ball, you have the hold R2 and also press L1(player run button) which keeps your offense going and running for you.. SO PASS, HOLD R2, press L1, player goes on run, pass, hold R2, YOU MUST be quick like a machine.
a good way to get the ball down the field is. OFF BALL Control, find player #2 usually is the farthest down the field, and press the square button(lob).
IF, IF IF IF,, you want a bullet super pass. this is the directions. OFF BALL CONTROL, choose your player 1 2 or 3, MOVE that player just a little bit, than HOLD R2 and press the lob. It doesnt matter how long you press the lob. THis will make your player pass an unrealistic bullet pass down the field quickly. IF YOU DONT move your OFF BALL CONTROL player a little bit to right or left or up or down, and than HOLD R2 while pressing LOB. THE pass will not be BULLET Super low. SO IN SIMPLE WAYS
1. HIT L2(off ball control button),
2. choose what player you want
3. move the right analog stick in any direction just for little bit
4. HOLD R2 and while holding R2 press SQUARE(lob button)
CORNER kicks, The best one for me is, A CURVE TO NEAR POST, than i press the CIrcle (shoot button) it chooses the player by the post. I push and shove. TRY to get your player to lean on the defender, not behind or front. being infront will sometimes be successful, but the best position is to be next to the defender and lean on him.
PLAYING DEFENSE (my specialty)
You have to relax, you have to let the offense come to you, WHEN THE KICKOFF starts, DONT chase the players, wait with your player at the halfline, dont USE THE TURBO button, it will only throw your players out of the action and they wont be able to come back and chase.
if a guy is passing very quickly, making quick runs and passes, DONT USE THE TURBO button, just move your players, CONTAIN, if you have the player close to you, dont GO IN FOR THE TACKLE, wait for the chance while he is passing. as you contain all your players will cover every single player of his. One of his passes will be to a player thats very close to your player, that is when you judge what side he willl turn to and you tackle him.
So lets say im passing from roberto carlos on the left side to ZIDANE in the center of the field, and you are covering zidane. USUALLY as im receiving with zidane, i will turn either up or down when im receiving, so YOU MUST succesfully guess where i will turn based on the players I HAVE around me and TACKLE quickly.
THE TURBO BUtton in defense is not used to much unless CHASING a *(&*&( long ball pass. playing defense takes PATIENCE. When playing great players, I have to wait up to 5 minutes (game time, not real time) sometimes in order to get posession back. I contain. IF the player passes to ball to a player that looks open, DONT get scared, thers one of your players close by thats coming once he gets the ball, THE control will automatically switch to the closest, SO DONT rush in with turbo, CONTAIN.
CALL DEFENDER BUTTON is useful, but dont use it unless you have an open defender. I FIND IT USEFUL when a guy BEATS MY LUIS FIGO on the wing and starts RUSHING freely, so i start chasing him from the back, but i also hold CALL DEFENDER which makes ROBERTO CARLOS attack from the other side. THIS is good defense, but you also have to SEE HIS Other players, when you think hes gonna pass the ball, let go of turbo, and just move backwards to contain the player. BEST PLAYERS in world are QUICK shooters, so when around the box, you cant contain, you have to PRESS, but smart press, it comes with experience.
BACK TO OFFENSE, when you have the ball, you dont have to pass it right away sometimes if you have 2-3 seconds to pass, WAIT kind of till the last minute than pass it. WAITING till the last minute will bait all HIS players to coming Towards you which will free up other players on the run.. SO keep hitting that L1(make run button).
CAMERA ANGLE. THe default is Tele with medium zoom level almost. MAKE SURE YOUR camera is TELE with NO ZOOM LEVEL. THIS WILL GIVE YOU still a great graphic, but a much better view of the field and surrounding players.
FORMATION- when i play , i take brazil or real madrid, because they fit my style of the beautiful brazilian game which is quick passing, possesion..... The best defense Is NEUTRAL, the best style is POSSESION, MY offside trap is off, THE MENTALITY is sometimes attacking sometimes neutral. THE FORMATION , put what suits you, i usally now leave it as it is whatever the fifa has it to, i dont change it.
