If Sporting lose tomorrow and then they win @ the Derby and Porto wins @ Rio Ave. All the three teams would have 61 Points!
And then it would be a dramatic Final in the last "JORNADA"

He said that before the match, must you "attack" the guy just because of his belief on our team winning the league for the THIRD STRAIGHT YEAR...?

:nape:

Anyway we'll see who laughs at the end, you were so confident some weeks ago and now you are grabbing your balls..so typical :rockman:

There was bit of irony on your request for his opinion dude....but hey, whatever :ewan:

Btw I think one should always believe that his club is going to win every next match, or else there is nothing to cheer for.... ;)

Well here i am after the match and obsviouly my opinion changed cause i'm a realistic person, i said that thinking we could win the last 3 matches but if u read what i said before u would see that i said "if we don't win the last 3 games we don't deserve to be champions", that's exactly what i think ATM... now i hope Sporting can win the title and Porto reach a CL spot, that's the least we can do...

Eu infelizmente já não acredito, é muito complicado neste momento... :( mais vale ser realista e nao nos iludirmos, vamos ao menos tentar a melhor classificação possivel e esperar que os jogadores dignifiquem a camisola que vestem...

Things can go well and that would be great for us, although it is very unlikely to happen we might just get there!
We are not used to looking up to other teams on the table, but when that happens (like...now), the only thing that makes sense for us, as supporters, to do, is believe.
It's all we have, it's all we can give :jap:

LISBON, May 12 (Reuters) - Porto have agreed to sell international midfielders Maniche and Costinha to Russian club Dynamo Moscow, the Portuguese champions said on Thursday.
Porto will receive €16 million for Maniche and €4million for Costinha.

Porto, who sold defenders Ricardo Carvalho and Paulo Ferreira to English champions Chelsea at the end of last season, lie third in the Portuguese Premier League, three points behind leaders Sporting and Benfica with two games remaining.

So how do you Porto fans feel about this?? I thought Maniche was a good player.

Like I've said before in some other thread, I think that it is time for both to go.

Costinha is not getting any younger (~30), 4 million is a not a bad fee for a player of his age, and he's been strugling with injuries, caused by the amount of minutes he has on his legs.
He has played in almost every game this season, even when he was not fully fit.
I am forever thankful to him for all he's given to our team, all his commitement and devotion were impressive along the years, and he's always been a key figure on our midfield, even scoring some important goals too.
Always present when the team needed him..legend.

Maniche is a good player indeed, but he should have left after the European Cup when his rating was really high.
He's spent this season also strugling with injuries, and he has shown little heart everytime he played...f'ck him :fool:
It's is a good time for him to leave, 16 million is good enough for me.
But him going to Moscow...that will be a major stepback on his career, he has skills to play on another level.....ManU seem to be interested in him, he should think about that option

So, we knew what was coming already..and I wouldn't say no to this offer too if I was PdC.

Maybe because he's a dumbass.
He himself must know that, but the money surely is what makes him go to Russia..

Yeah and it will be very hard for him to get a spot on the NT playing on such a sh'tty league, he's most likely to be forgotten..and will probably lose the sense of playing high level football.

Porto will be participating in the Amsterdam Tournament, organized by Ajax, on next season's warm up.

Anyone knows if it is a four-team tournament?
I've read that Boca Juniors and Arsenal will be our opponents..

Should be fun to watch, looking forward to it :rockman:

Oops

just noticed that there is no final, the winner will be the one with the most points I guess..

And Porto won't be meeting Ajax at all :(

Amsterdam Tournament is fun, you get one point for every goal scored in addition to the three points for a win.

That's good stuff, should generate really interesting matches!

Oh well, with Ajax out of the way we'll just have to kick Boca and Arse's arses
