I challenge Filipower to find the offside in that video:

You guys are so crazy about finding something to prove that the goal was unffair that your eyes start to fail.

Exactly! The video has a break so its impossible to see, but Saviola runs from the back so when the player made the pass he isn't offside.

He didn't touch the ball there, right?

Otherwise, that would be an obvious offside.

But, it's cool that you didn't score on this case.

He didnt touch the ball i think. The player fails the reception, if he touched the ball, it wouldn't pass trough the feet. But i might be wrong.

Wow i thought saviola wa on side when he scored, which he was but in this we see that the play should have been called back as saviola touches the ball to the Benfica player who is offside who then heels it back. Play should have been halted, Saviola's chance to score would never happen...tough luck on our part

Anyhow, still I think he's active there. I don't know how are the rules. but he's distracting the keeper with that stuff.

But if you see the two of them arent in offside, so when the player fails the ball, the other who wasn't in offside can do what he wants, so its impossible that distraction theory.

But the truth is that we deserved this win. When the game was in the 1st half i told on the game topic that Benfica and Porto were being prejudiced on some minor faults. If you see the game, a clearly penalty made by Rodriguez wasn't whistled. So they're talking about things that we (Benfica) can talk too, but its useless because we deserved this. Porto wasn't playing like they played in their past games, and that was because of Benfica. We did a great game.

I can agree that Saviola touched the ball, but i have serious doubts about it, in the images we get a minor illusion that he does, but the assistant referee is in much better position to see if he touched or not the ball. Besides that, if he touched the ball wouldn't go faster like he does on the pitch. But im not going argue about this one, its difficult to see.

I personally think he touches the ball, mainly cuz of the why it changes direction (very slightly).

Anyways it seems somebody always gets "screwed" every year it was our turn today

cheers enjoy it cuz we came back this season all ready from more than 4 points down and I believe we can do it again for good over 16 more games.

After what I saw in the second half, your team looks physically really beat up and I do not think you will be able to keep up your tempo, which has already gone down significantly the past month.

I fully believe that the conditions acually helped you in the second half. If the game was a nice sunny dry day and with how your players were exhausted physically in the second half Porto woul dhave tied it up. The worsening conditions as the minutes passed made it impossible for us to play, cuz you parked the bus fairly well in teh second half.

A good example of what I mean was late in teh second, there was a throughball that was put in that would have put Falcao clear on goal. Benfica defenders were clearly beat on that pass, only for the ball to just stop all of a sudden in a puddle.

You know what I am talking about and u get what I mean. I am not trying to take anything away from you, because until your players lasted you dominated the game. quando eles deram o peido voces estariam lixados lol

Enjoy it will we will see you in the championship decider in Dragao!!!!

Urreta (or whoever it is) is offside when Saviola touches it from the first cross. You are so crazy about finding something to prove that the goal was fair that your eyes start to fail.

Funny thing is that Benfica wouldn't even need an irregular goal to beat the sh*tty team Porto was yesterday, but still you guys just know how to win like that...

That's another question... If he touched or not the ball
