Won the Second Leg against CSKA 1-0! 
We're into the final!!
CSKA had a man sent off after about 25mins, and a penalty turned down later. But they needed to turn around a 3-0, so not like they can blame the refereeing!
Look out Man Utd, here we come!

Seems it's not Man Utd that have to look out after all!! Earlier in the year, we beat Lyon 2-0 at home, and drew 0-0 away! Let's hope we can get 1-0 in Turkey!
Almost feel like we've had it too easy! In the knockout stages we've had Athletic Bilbao, Shakhtar Donetsk, CSKA Moscow and now Lyon. An absolute dream draw! I just feel sorry for whoever plays next year, as it'll probably raise expectations, and the odds of getting such an easy draw again are slim!

Ok, so I just played the last game of the League. I played NONE of our first XI basically (not even on the bench - although Dragan came off the bench and made the goal). We won 1-0 against Lokomotiv.
Now two or three games left. Cup Semi, possibly Cup Final, Champions League Final.
But that'll be tomorrow. Bed for now!

And now 53mins down and we're up 2-1! AK47 banged one in just after the break, then Kryvtsov hit the goal that put is in front. Our captain ALWAYS seems to stand up in these big games when needed.

I don't like how you edit posts. I get excited to see an update and then just get a halftime score and it's not even clear if it's in the Russian Cup or the CL Semis.

Generally, just for this business end of the season, I was drip feeding some screenshots as stuff happened, and posting a new post each time. So I'd post a screen shot of half time, then of full time or whatever.

Finally broke the CSKA monopoly.
Didn't win Player of the Year though, some guy from Zenit won that (an Italian Left back - Domenico Criscito)
Strangely though, some Argentinian won best foreigner, even though the Italian on best player??

I've also signed a few random North Koreans (only for the reserves, don't think any have the potential to be real stars). But I brought in the token, and he struggled to blend in, so I brought in others to make him happy.

The stats show they've dominated possession, but we really have well and truly had the better of the chances. Lucas probably should have scored twice.
I'm going to encourage the boys, at 0-0, and dominating the goal mouth, we're a big chance here. Everyone is fully fit, and I have guys like Gitinov and Reus to call on should need be. This is when I wish I started with Kipre (and Reus instead of Dragan). Bringing on AK47 and Dragan late in these games, with their speed against tired legs, is SOOOO potent.

(DAMN just realised that video is crap quality, but it was great movement by the boys, Svec got through on goal, and poked it into the bottom right)

Kipre, is now considered a club legend. Wow. Didn't see that coming.
Kim Jong-Sung, Traore (gone), Lucas Moura and Kryvtsov are all considered club icons.
Surprising that Moura got there before Ganso, Svec, Bigvava, Lashankov, and Cassiano (who have all been with the club longer)
Good news is that Kolotsey is only 60 days away from Russian citizenship, and Svec 30! So whoever plays next will be able to use them full time in the League!
