To be honest, Howedes isn't the kind of guy you need, he's a little too similar to Pique, same with Hummels (who's actually better all around, but neither at Pique's level obviously). You should get a player like Puyol who is a warrior and great in the air. Don't really know who that is... you can pretty much buy anyone at this point, so why not Chiellini.

BTW, I would be very happy with Thiago Silva, the kid plays very well. Hopefully it can be done at a good price, I heard Maxwell would be included in the deal as well. That means Pep will use Abidal at LB

Coentrao style of play is more suited for Barcelona than Madrid.

Cissoko I think failed a medical at Milan a few years ago. Not too many good left backs out there right now to be honest, should have gone for Taiwo.

yup, teeth ... may seem crazy, but abnormal dental growth can affect the development of the body's structural anatomy quite significantly (read up on it if you're interested) ...

however, given the lack of effort on Milan's part to shed more light on their concerns, or to help the player sort out his problem, it seems more likely that they were just trying to get out of the deal ...

I think Ştefan Radu is underrated ...

but if I were recommending a left-back for Barça, it'd have to be Kolarov -- an attacking wingback who has a lot to offer, and who is definitely gettable on the cheap after an indifferent year playing out of position at Man City ...

Those were like 3-4 matches. Other than that Piquénbauer = best CB in the world.

I think Ştefan Radu is underrated ...

He is, but definitely not of Barça's class, at least at the moment. 'I don't know why' but he is always injured during NT matches
