I thought the pictures made it pretty clear what the stories are? (i.e. Thiago to Man Yoo, Rooney to Barcelona) ... anyway: one's talking about an agreement for Thiago, claiming he's decided to leave Barça to play for you guys ... the other says there's been contact between the two clubs for Rooney, with Manchester letting Barça know they're open to negotiate for him ... take whatever credibility you see from that ...

Marquinhos is very good but if every CB in the world is now valued at 32M, I'd take Thiago Silva. If they could get Marquinhos for half, I'd take Marquinhos though.

Yeah, since Vilanova basically said "Thiago or bust" and made it public, everyone else now will feel free to overcharge for whomever we buy.

I have absolutely no clue about what's going to happen with Rolando BTW. He was a starter for Napoli in the last few games of last season but they didn't activate the buying option, and I don't see him having a place in our squad.
So I would appreciate Barça taking him, and so would he...he's actually a solid CB, too bad he decided to be a moron rejecting a move to the EPL. The most interested team in him was QPR though, so in end his decision was actually legit (H)

I hope we give Thiago + Villa for Rooney. We could use a player with his ability to pick up some of the scoring pressure for Messi. Then we can re-sign Thiago down the road, they always want to come back to Barca :)

Official: David Villa to Atlético Madrid

FC Barcelona have today announced that they have reached an agreement with Atlético Madrid for the transfer of Asturian striker David Villa (31) for a maximum total fee of up to 5.1 million Euros, with a clause for 50% of his next transfer. The amount is paid in installments and the majority of the fee is conditional on certain events. Only 2.1 million is guaranteed and paid immediately. Two more million will be paid next year and the final one million the year after that, but only if David Villa remains at the Madrid side.
