Thiago Silva has the key, if he wants to play for Barcelona i think he will end up (finally) at Camp Nou. Tito has only demanded this player.

BTW Girona's coach, Rubi, has joined the staff. Probably to have a coach when Tito goes to NY...

Thiago Silva: "Tito is an excellent coach, a guy I admire. We had quick chat at CL game, he invited me to come and play with them"

Thiago Silva: "There are no negotiations ongoing. In football, you never know, but I'm happy at PSG, it's very unlikely I'll leave."

Thiago Silva: "Last season Milan wanted to sell, PSG don't, so the situation is different. Hope the uncertainty will be resolved soon"

Barça make a last attempt to sign PSG defender Thiago Silva. A club executive is in Brazil to talk with the player and his agent.

Villanova is still insisting? We could probably get 2 cb for that (or only a bit more) and they would be very good. If they actually scouted and looked at players, that is.

Not really. Anyone good enough would cost around that sum.

I don't know. If Thiago is recognized as the world's best CB and they are looking at 32m, I imagine they could bring in two very good CBs at around 20m each (or 25/15 - you get my meaning). One older, more experienced and one younger up-and-coming. I'd have to do some research on what's out there, but this is off the top of my head.

Or you buy Thiago Silva from Fluminese in 2009 for a quarter (or less) of that price, or Kompany from HSV, or Dante from Gladbach, if your scouting is good, and with a little luck. You don't always have to buy players proven at the highest level, that's expensive and easy.

Or you buy Dmytro Chygrynskiy for 25 fucking millions, Martin Caceres for 16.5 millions or Henrique for 8 millions and then sell all of them for peanuts.

We've already tried this thing and beside Pique, we epic-failed all of them.

There are only few top CBs in football and this is a VERY tough position at Barça, since we cant have Sergio Ramos, Thiago Silva is the best amd safest option.

The real drama is letting Isco go to our biggest rival knowing that Thiago is leaving, Xavi is over and Iniesta bald.

YELLOW CARD: Untrustworthy
Messi has just hurt many of his fans here in Los Angeles, by cancelling the Messi and friends vs the rest of the world Football match on the same day it was to take place.

I would still be looking at a few other options. Why would PSG let him go for 32 when they paid more than that just a year ago?

We'll see if Thiago actually leaves. I still think he's playing a bit of a game, but will stay in the end.

Messi is blaming the event organizers for the problem. The promoters for the event look pretty damn shady.
