Era verdad... no fue el Messi mas brillante, pero aun asi consiguio su gol, que nos dio la seguridad...

Asi son los grandes, aun cuando no juegan su mejor partido, pueden sacar adelante al club...

I was just analysing the FIFPro XI for the 2006/07 season... and you have to wonder about the team when Ronaldinho and Cannavaro found their place in it after the season they've had. Wow.

Also, another thing that never ceases to amaze is that we can never get a wallpaper-size team photo from the official website. They have the team photo for this season, but of course it's as small as a team photo can get. I really don't understand the problem in giving the fans a photo of a decent size.

Anyway, on Sunday Messi shows Aguero who's the Wunderkind around here.

Thanks, man. I knew I forgot to check somewhere... so it was the photo gallery, hah.

So, about the pic, I love how Messi is the only one with the ball, it's a nice touch.

Also, is it just me or is Eto'o the only player on the photo not looking at the camera? Yep, confirmed, Sammy is again looking somewhere else.

The hat-trick was crucial, I think he feels much different now that he's got the burden of the first league goal off his chest.

I believe we'll start seeing the best Henry from now on.

me too. the award usually goes to a player from a team which has won a major championship, be it with the club or national team. i think kaka will win it this year. but with the form messi is in right now, i fully expect him to win it next year!

Yea, I don't believe Messi will win it, hell, even I wouldn't give it to him. He had a great year, but the best in the world? Not. This year? Probably. Also, what the HELL are Thuram and Marquez doing there????!!? But no Puyol? Yea, Titi and Rafa were much better last season...

Kaka will probably take it.

exactly i think its actually based on 2006 so that was when both Rafa and Henry where in the Champions League Final. so the one for FPOY 2008 will actually be for the 2007 season. at least thats how i think it works....

Eto'o and Henry have been a lot of time injured. Márquez and Thuram were quite average last season and I'm being generous. Even Deco doesn't deserve the nomination. Deco has been great so far this season, but last season was very disappointing.

However Iniesta is not nominated..


The top 3 this year will be: 1. Kaka; 2. C.Ronaldo; 3. Messi

Messi will win everything next year. He is the best player in the world already.
