For the Atletico game, I think it will be difficult. We always (except the last game) had problems with that team. The most important task is to stop that guy Aguero. If we do that, we will win.

What makes me believe that Messi will indeed become the best football player ever to step foot on a pitch is the fact that for him we don't need to say "If he keeps improving like this he will be huge" like we usually do when a prospect comes up. Messi seems a finished product. I don't see what it is that he could potentially improve in his game. The guy has everything already, speed, agility, accuracy, technique... everything, and all of it is on a level higher than any other player.

Indeed the best. To become the greatest in history, greater than Pele and Maradona, he just needs to keep this up. He doesn't even have to improve, he just needs to show this kind of football as regularly as he can, to prove people that this isn't just a good run that will end in failure like it has with a lot of other prospects before him.

We are so damn lucky to have him, as well as Bojan and Giovani. It's perverse.

Whatever level you reach there is no end to the improvements you can make.
I am pretty sure Messi will still improve and will surely become the best of the best.

Good result, even though the first half was played better. And God damn, bad luck with defenders. Marquez looked like he pulled his calf muscle, Puyol look like he hurt his leg, and at the end Abidal looked like he hurt his ankle. Hopefully none of them are big injuries.

Messi was the best player on the field today, again. It's great to see him in such top form. Ronaldinho didn't really do anything all game, but it was refreshing to see him. Henry was invisible except for a few plays in the second half. Overall it was a solid game in a very hostile environment. It was also cool to see Pardo and Osorio play, although it looked like Osorio got hurt.

Ronaldinho played well in the first half.. put Henry and Messi in front of goal to score, not his fault they couldn't finish. I didn't c all of the second half but from what i saw he could of ran a lil more, challenging on the midfield wouldn't have hurt either. Then again its his first game back. I think he misses E'to Can't deny Messi is pure class though.. so smooth!!

agree, if messi and henry would have finished thoses crazy assists by dinho , we would be saying dinho had a great game, and indeed imo he did had a good game... about the game well the most important thing was the points, casue i have some mixed feelings about the game, our defense looked really shaky today but its understandable because of marquez injury and having a premature puyol in their.... its no coincidence he got injured again; i am so freaking please about abidal playing those minutes as a CB, he is just so freaking good no matter were we put him.

in resume good result , but iam so worried about our defense, i has been dismantle with injurys and we only have thuram, oleguer, abidal and silvinho completly fit.

Messi still scored. You can't expect him to dominate EVERY single match. In some he will just be good. I mean, he scores and you say he wasn't brilliant
