i didn't say he wasn't called up (and still, he hasn't been capped) ... I just said he wasn't proud to play for the Spanish national team based on the fact that he turned down a call-up (sometime in 2006, I think); the reason he gave was that he was a "true Catalan" ...

We actually played very well today, Eto'o could have scored 5 or 6 on another day but nothing would go in today. Derby game was always going to be hard, and league is lost anyway, so at least it was a good fight and a good performance. The important thing was our defense looked very solid today, never looked like conceding. Manchester will attack a lot more, so we need to be ready to take our chances when they come.

actually i agree with solaimaa , we played a good game , given the curcumstances..... espanyol went for the tie and defended even with one of the forwards, we had some pretty good chances, a lot in fact, but etoo was off today, an kameni was like usual on fire, what i am optmistic about too is that our defense is back on track and that marquez an milito are the perfect pair, when they get separated we suffer.......... also messi is looking good and our offense is showing it, we completely owned espanyol... but they defended there selves even with their teeth pretty good..... so the tie doesnt expect the truth.

I'm optimistic too... The team played great today... Rijkaard rested some players... If f****** Giovani and Eidur wouldn't have played the score have been 1 or 2 -0 ... Eto'o and Messi are incredible together... F***!! Is Messi a human?? Bojan is one of the greatest young players I've ever seen...Yaya played perfect...Puyol and Milito too...Not so sure about Zambrotta but the defence played excelent...What a pitty we won't have Puyol for Man United ... We lost the championship 5-6 weeks ago... The team showed a wonderful football and I think they can beat Man Utd!!
Best of luck to you guys although IMO it looks really slim for you guys right now but maybe with some luck you could go through. Also Eto'o is again a doucebag and the media whore as he pulls a Ronaldo complianing about nothing right before a big CL game. Talk about selfish.

i saw the video, and nothing got taken out of context he said what he said, and that was pretty straight forwards. Sure he is entitled to his opinion but when your team is undegoing a crisis and you are one of the 'leaders' you dont need to come out saying you're gonna leave if they dont win titles and stuff that's just rude and careless
