I'm watching it on some Chinese channel through sopcast. Nothing significant happened yet, but one thing I can say. That's not Rijkaard's XI. I haven't seen every player yet, but atleast Abidal is on the left flank.

Messi seems to have hurt himself a little and apparently Gio is coming to cover for him. Hopefully nothing serious.
....too bad for Messi one of my fav players, but it helps us big time

Gio shows some real unselfish playing as he gets alone against the goalie with Eidur and he passes to Guddy who launches it to the empty net.
EDIT: It doesn't matter as much, as we were already in the lead, but it's always good to get more goals. Messi got injured, I know it's a bad thing, but we have to prove we're not a one man team, which we have been sometimes this season. It won't be easy to play against Madrid without Messi, but it wouldn't have been easy else too. We'll just have to learn to live with these injuries.

well... certainly we are not barca without messi he is our most vital player... but this game next week we should consider it a test, a test that we can work without him... we learned to work without etoo to a certain point and even dinho too.... for example we are getting henry back for that game, so i may think its a good chance for rijkaard to use a 4-4-2 lineup... with etoo and henry as our pair and dinho on the middle of them beeing the supplier and yaya, iniesta and xavi/deco having control of the midfield... i mean common we couldnt ask for a better lineup given the circumstances....

That would be a good formation. Sort of a 4-1-2-1-2 with DM two CMs and AM on the midfield. Could work well for us. And also, it'd be nice to see Eto'o and Titi hit it off.

i dont think nobody is saying it doesnt matter... we are saying theirs nothing we can do about messi..... but i think with the type of players we do have we can easily rain over madrid... it doesnt take a genious to know that we have a world class team even without messi... if we cant make it work with what we have i would consider us mediocre team.
