My mistake, I appended the same file two or three times without realising.

I pal pointed that out over msn, he laughed loudly when he saw it. :$

Typical isn't it. Pires was very lucky to stay on the pitch because according to the official rules raising your hand, let alone touching an opponent is a straight red card offence. Keano's tackle, or shall I say kick, was bad though if you look at the slow motion replay you can clearly see that Pires takes time before tumbling to the ground, having said that Keane should've gotten a yellow.

The hand ball incidents were disputable, it didn't look intentional yet some referee's might give a penalty for such a thing.
United didn't play dirty, the tackles were hard but not malicious unlike Lehmann's push on Ronaldo for no reason whatsoever. He has an attitute problem and sooner or later it will cost Arsenal games because opponents are going to try and wind him up a bit so he does stupid things.

Reyes, Kolo and Gael were our only players who didn't play awful from what i heard.

We didn't deserve to win...we lost, it doesn't happen often and pisses me off, on top of that i've had a headache for 2 days.

Oh well...there's still the league, and don't think i've forgotten those League over FA cup comments last year.

so neville should get a red too since he ws fu.cking pires just before the slap, literally, correct? and a handball is a handball no matter what, intentional or not because if his hand wasnt there it would have gone straight to reyes and he most likely would have finished it off

Senior Squad
I thought it was an excellent cup-tie, shame it wasn't the final, really.

Despite Arsenal resting Henry they had pretty much a full strength squad out there (I'd pick Bergkamp over Reyes anyday atm - because Bergkamp is such a great player and Reyes is good but not as good), and our depleated team came through and showed that we aren't finished by a long way.

I don't think you can say either team dominated the game, it was 50-50 all the way. Arsenal came out of the blocks running and had a couple of chances which we did well to escape, a bit of luck and some good stops by Carroll and Brown. But after that chances were at a premium.

Whilst I still feel that the FA Cup is more consilatory to the standards that we aim for it's still a prize worth something. I'd say the celebration at the end was more down to the realisation that United are far from finished. A realisation that the last couple of months seem more like a blip that a sign of things to come. After all, over the 3 games we've played against the 'best team ever in the history of the world' we've come out on top, and all 3 games were very close.

The 'youngsters' are finding their feet as well. Ronaldo was exceptional against Arsenal. Really, their defense found it difficult to cope not only with his running but also with his crossing. Whilst none of them resulted in a goal countless corners resulted from his productivity after last-gasp defending from Campbell or Toure.

Fletcher also showed his promise. His contribution provided solidarity in the center. It freed Scholes up from defensive work (which isn't his forte) and also provided an outlet in the middle. He's still got a bit of work to do to be class but he's improving and showing that he is good enough.

There's promise for next season. It's no wonder we've lacked the consistency needed to win the league with the way things have gone against us this season. Rio Ferdinand's absence is felt not only through his ability as a defender but also from the consistency in defense that is required for it to perform. Now that Brown's back in form and we're playing with a defense that has played more than a couple of times, it looks like a unit. Arsenal have had that consistency in their rear-guard this season, and you only have to look at their defensive record to see how much of a difference it makes. You only have to look at our defensive record from before Rio's ban when all the inconstency started to see how much it matters.

But this FA Cup win was about more than getting to the final. It was about giving something to the fans that have stuck it out. We have to put up with more **** than most fans. You either support United or you hate United. If a little something goes wrong the press are on it. You get supporters of teams like Leicester gloating when we lose to FC Porto (who would easily get at least 4th spot in the EPL). This season has been a great one for non-United supporters. Those Leicester fans (or whichever club) might still consider this season a success even if they get relegated, particularly if Millwall beat us in the cup final (which is not an outcome that can be discounted).

Anyway, the players gave it their all and made us United fans proud. They proved to themselves that they have more to give than most people thought.

Arsenal's record in the league is there for all to see. Their consistency has been outstanding this year. But we showed that if we could get back to the consistency that we've shown in previous seasons, then we are more than capable of challenging for honours on every front next season. Not that I doubted that this team were good enough to mount a challenge but it's nice when the team shows that your faith is not unfounded.

I almost broke into tears when the final whistle went.
We didn't play good enough but we weren't outplayed either.

Things like this happen.
God, I feel like ****. I hate it when we lose by 1 goal. Hurts.
