He can even afford to lose the influential Gravesen.

No, the team immediately faltered soon after Gravesen's departure. Liverpool just happend to be more shittier than Everton during the second half of the season.

Mourinho met my expectations for the season........unfortunetly for me :boohoo:

Moyes went above and beyond my expectations for Everton especially given the circumstances after losing his 2 best players and all that board room sh!t at the start of the season :jap:

No, it wasnt easy, although with a defence like Chelsea had, it's not too hard to conceeding only 15 goals. It's not only money(Porto didn't have that much money, lol), Mourinho is one of the best managers in the game at the moment.Still i think Moyes was better as a manager this season, crap squad with 2 top players sold and the CL spot...

You mean with a centre-back playing left-back and Glen Johnson at right-back for most of the season? I see your point though :) No doubt Terry and Riccy Carvalho are a great CB pairing.

Moyes had a good season, but I really think the quality of the mid-table teams allowed for someone with a good defense to get a surprise league position. Everton had a great season grinding out results against equally poor teams, that's about it. And that doesn't belittle their amazing achievement btw.

Moyes - no contest. For him to do what he did with "that" team is just amazing , when at the start of the season they were tipped to go down....

Who cares about what he's achieved with Porto, the trophy goes to the best manager of this year and Mourinho obviously had millions to spend on his team. He handled all those stars pretty well though.

Mourinho because his team actually try to play football unlike the other 2 teams and he was gracious in defeat when Chelsea got beat by Liverpool in the semi-final second leg.He even went round to each Liverpool and shaked their hand wat a guy :)

I had to vote for Mourinho, unfortunately. There's no denying that he is a great manager, regardless of how much money he has. He made a rock-solid team, definitely a better team than the undefeated Arsenal team from last season.

Even though Moyes did do a great job at Everton this season, it must be said that he got fairly lucky to get the last spot in the CL. I think that if Liverpool were not involved in the CL/Carling Cup for the time that they were, then they would have easily passed Everton in the league. Liverpool, with their injuries, didn't have the depth to put full commitment to multiple causes, and it's pretty obvious that they didn't commit to the EPL in the second half of the season. It was impressive how Moyes took 4th despite losing both Graveson and Rooney, while really getting a dead deal in Beattie.

As much as I hate to say it but I think Mourinho is the best manager, he did what not many managers could do forming a team full of random stars to a team of mates.

Help?

Hard, very hard to decide. I went for Mourinwhore, only because he really set a new standard, even though he had all those funds, it's not that easy to just stroll on for the whole EPL season and he almost made Chelsea go unbeaten the whole season. He deserves it. Bryan Robson did a lot and deserves the credit, as well as Moyes who did an unbelieavable with his team. But still Morinho.

Well I would have said Moyes, had you asked me last week! But I gotta go with Robbo or should that be Houdini! To turn around a team that was practically relegated at Christmas and save them was a piece of genius. I'm pleased for him too, afer all he suffered at Boro.

Yes, it matters A LOT what he won at Porto to dismantle comments like 'he was successful at Chelsea because of money'. It wasn't the money, obviously, and for two reasons:
a) he already proved he was the best even with little money to spend;
b) as if ManU and Arsenal have cheap players and scarce funds. Riiiiiight.

Ummmm.let me think........wow thats difficult one.........Moyes?.....Oh yeah thats the guy who took his team to Highbury and, as a result of his shrewd tactical know how, and the ability to install a team ethic into his never say die players......managed to be on the wrong end of the biggest defeat in this seasons EPL.....7....yes SEVEN - 0.Christ they even made Arsenal look good, thats how bad they were...so ,no,it cant be dear ol' Dave..........
Robbo?.......well he's only been at WBA for five minutes so how can he be manager of the year?He keeps his team at the bottom of the prem for the last half of the season and on the last day, manages to survive because of a one goal difference.Well done the Baggies though,i am pleased for them but Robbo,as much as i admired him as a player will never be a decent manager as long as he has a hole in his ....well you know where.
So,who does that leave?..........Oh ,theres only one choice left....i suppose my vote will have to go to him then.....Gee its the manager of MY club....what a coincidence........ :rockman:

Moyes. I, like most other people tipped them to be battling for relegation this season.

I think if Ranieri stayed, Chelsea wouldve still won the championship. Maybe they wouldnt have won it such a landslide, but they still wouldve won.

I think he did a good job in turning around their season, but I dont think Robson should be nominated.
