This is also the same guy that saved Terry in last season's Carling Cup final? This guy works as a hero for a living!!:mrpimp:
Players owe people like him big time.

why do we give trophies to players like Kaka, Messi, Ronaldo? or praise great game-winning saves by guys like Casillas, Buffon and the likes? they're also just doing their job..

why do we praise anyone, for that matter?..

Of course , but the guy is probably the best in his field ( 'scuse the pun ), and it matters not to him who the player might be or who he plays for, his professional excellence has been the difference between life and death, quite literally. I'm sure Lewin gets paid quite well too, but that is not the point here.

Why do the armed forces win medals, or firemen, or policemen if those people are only doing their jobs then? It's because these people go that extra mile, above and beyond what is expected of them. I know Lewin doesn't risk his own life at any time, but he sure has saved a few and I think thats more important.

I've seen players injured on the pitch and the opposition physio's turn their back on the player lying on the ground. Lewin aint one of those. Whatever team the injured player plays for doesn't matter to him, Lewin is always there to advise and in some cases actually treat the player.

There probably isn't another physio in the game that wouldn't listen to what Lewin has to say. The whole of football respect the guy big time, so maybe it's time he got some recognition for his achievements.

That's the answer i was looking for.

Look at this tackle, almost the same kind of tackle as Taylor's. Just proves that if he didnt get that injury, only arsenal fans would complain about the tackle.

I saw that one, poor Robben, just when he was starting to play well for Real.......I can understand what Real fans are going through tho......

Robben's injury is no where as bad as Eduardo's. Eduardo's ankle went completely the other way. Ankle doesn't bend that way unlike in the Robben's incident.

The difference being that Robben didn't have his studs planted on the grass, otherwise, we would have a "Robben injury" thread

Even then i don't think it would have been as serious. Your foot can bend inwards, minimizing the break, but your foot can't bend ******ds and no such minimization is possible.

I know, that was a really bad one too. And that one didn't come straight forward, where it's easy to see it's coming, but from his right. Robben got somehow lucky there, because his foot slided on the grass, otherwise he could've end up worse than Eduardo.

Your old mate Van Nistelhorse is a diver as well, crikey, they like buying divers at the Bernabéu (H)

Indeed, hopefully C. Ronaldo is next(H), that would be fine by mine. As for Robben he has not done much of that but than again he has not played much either, won't be fun once he starts doing it though. I still remember Reina almost killing him by touching his face. But damn you guys are harsh, the guy is injured from that tackle and still no mercy.
