Thank you for great words, I've worked very hard to make mods included in FAES.
I hope you enjoy. Serie A career is pretty amazing now, played many matches, a pleasure.
Not a racisme bro. Only no free time to update all leagues and players one on one.
Because for the serie a I've edited almost all players with accuracy.
For example try to get the ball from cpu Edin Džeko, very impossible but you have a chance only if you play with strong defenders or physical players.
Ohh if you play as Roma - for the cpu is impossible to get the ball if you are in possession with Džeko.

The best things I've tried to do:
- differentiate players for their qualities in order to see this effect amplified in the pitch, when you play agaist cpu or when you are controlling the player.
- you can see strong players (in the various roles) also in low rated teams

For example check this example below:
career mode, 10 min half, legendary (anyway you can start from wc), all to manual (gamepad settings are very important to see the whole effect for my tweaks),
a match played yesterday, towards the end of the second half, I did not make any substitutions (big fail by me) and Cancelo is very fatigued, so the cpu punished me with an impressive shoot like the real Di Francesco, I 've edited and now you can see this. Custom traits addon and new stats are very visibles in this situation, and in every match.

The ball is kicked in a very beautiful way, and ball follow an incredible trajectory, impossible to catch.

In Faes has been included also an tweaks to amplify many effect during the gp:
- player's kit that gets dirty during the match
- pitch degradation fx
- grass particles during shoot, sliding tackles, and on addon now you can see also during normal sprint, accel, etc.
This tweak don't include only the number of particles, but also the time for visible effect, now increased. I've improved also in clear conditions and not only during rain.

And please remember this:
all players in the database has been processed with AGPE+GPZ (all leagues/teams/players), so if you don't see traits in game for some players, this is because there are hidden traits like, killer takles, diver, dives into takles, technical dribbler, avoids using weak foot , crowd favorite, leadership, inflexible and many more.

I've been lurking for a few weeks now, as I'm new to to modding FIFA. I'm more than familiar with modding though, from Skyrim to Arma to Civ.
I just want to make sure I'm doing exactly what Fidel requires--
- Both Step 1 and Step 2 (in part I) are required correct?
- When unzipping parts 1, 2, and 3 of the Quick Downgrade patch, should I do this all within the same New Folder? Then copy them into the /FIFA 18 folder?
- In Step 2 of Part 1, there's a new FIFA18.exe. Just to be clear--I'm copying the contents of ADDON_FULL_DOWNGRADE.rar into the main /FIFA 18 folder, correct? Surely I'm not dumping a new folder, with the new executable, into the main FIFA18 folder?

The only thing I think I'm unclear about:

- Between Parts 1 and 2, Fidel makes this a big point--

IMPORTANT: WHEN YOU DOWNGRADE THE GAME IS REQUIRED TO DO THE FIRST GAME START ONLINE IN ORIGIN.
Disable Fifa 18 Auto Title Update in Origin and disable Origin in-game option.
When the game start, quit from it, quit from Origin client, disconnect lan or wifi card.

am I correct in assuming I do this (booting up the game, then quickly backing out while d/c'ing etc) before heading into Part 2?

or is all of this after Parts 1 and 2?

Sorry for the long first post. Love football and detest what EA's done to FIFA. Can't wait to try this overhaul out, just want to make sure I'm doing it right.

The red text is your big issue in your game. I don't know why, but when you click launch, you must see only for 1 millisecond a black screen with code for the workaround modded game start.
After password step, the game will start without any fifaconfig pop-up.

Try to do this:
1 - apply the Frosty_Launch_Fix included
2 - go in \FIFA 18\FIFASetup
check if you see a fifaconfig.exe (no incon) dated 21/10/17 (21 October 2017)
and a fifaconfig_orig.exe with 18 icon.
If you do not have these files is there an issue when FMM try to launch game.
Before you click Launch Origin must be killed, closed.

The problem could be due to this:you don't have the Ownership option in the FIFA 18 folder.

Hello, download and play the game with FAES which includes an Advanced Gameplay Camera Mod
Or download FIFA 18 REVOLUTION GP CAMERA MOD.
- Include a CUSTOM REVO GP CAM 1.0 in Frosty Mod version ready to apply and play
(REVO GP CAM + KIT SELECT + INTRO MOD, default setup to 0.70, like the video below)

- Include a REVO GP CAM Mod Pack ready to edit/customize/import
(legacy files format, after edits you can import back with Frosty or CGFE,
or just import my already edited files).

FIFA18_BROAD_CAM_TW_1_2_[D+] is the old gp cam tweaker version CE based, but it will work only on the based 18 exe, so are not working on latest game versions. But this is pretty normal and common.

It's as if the game just tries to launch, but doesn't. I can't get to part 2 at this point.

I don't know if you are using my gameplay mods, because otherwise you can not ask me here for an already released mod.
This is perfectly how I've included on my AGPE Pure CTRL (from FIFA 17, more than one year ago).
But AGPE FAES players will see this more improved because I've tweaked also the db ad hoc.
Play FAES to enjoy, because you can not add with many strings the "in air ball controll" or "high jump + high legs", etc. To do this is required to re-work over than 20 strings and some skills in the db, is also required to unlock legs animations to the max, like I've already released.
In the final stage is required to edit and tweak connected values to the ball physics, air wind, and contact rate in settings ebx.

The fans of my AGPE gameplay (AGPE Pure CTRL 2.0 + COM GP Database), they know very well all features I've introduced from the 17 and now in the 18.

The mod you are asking is very old in this thread and already solved/released, just play FAES.

EDIT: I forgot before:
is also required to tweak the max opening/radius value in some legs joints, already released.

2 - go here MAIN DRIVE like C : \ProgramData\Origin\Logs --delete all files inside this folder.

Your game version is latest updated? (before the downgrade job).

And anyway try the PART 2 to install FAES, or try to run game with FMM but all mods uncheked.

Let me know if you solved in any way. But beleave me is there an issue in your game version or a mistake during install.

Hey Fidel - I followed the above, and even tried completely reinstalling FIFA 18. Did everything again from the beginning, and even re-tried your latest advice.

It's still the same--after applying the quick downgrade and full downgrade, the game won't launch. I don't attempt to boot the game via Frosty until you say so, in part 2, w/ FAES.

So after the downgrades, I launch the game via Origin with everything you said to disable (I play EA games that way anyway lol), while allowing it to connect online at least.

The problem hasn't changed; I click play on the launcher and a small black window pops up for a second, then disappears. I went ahead with part 2, FAES etc, copying the squad file etc.

This might help, I don't know: when launching as admin from Frosty, it only makes the launcher pop up, and so I have to launch via FMM a 2nd time. I do see the new loading screen (cr7 @ juve), but it never finishes loading.

If there's anything you need me to screen or show, let me know. Appreciate the help so far!

I applied everything, and even though the game changed a lot, CPU fouls are still non-existent. Just played 3 matches in a row with 0 CPU fouls.

Could anyone upload some video showing how FIFA 18 REVOLUTION GP CAMERA MOD works?
Fidel uploaded a video, but not in action. I would like to see if camera tracking is smoother or not with the new changes. Making it smoother is the key, above all in Broadcast camera because of its specific angle. I would like to see also how TV Broadcast camera works with angle added in this mod. I wish you get a smoother tracking to provide a more real ball physics to us.
