Okay let me explain it to you. I know that Deco is a very good player, but

1. If Deco goes to Bayern Ballack is gone and he's my favourite player

2. Bayern has Schweinsteiger, the biggest talent in the country, who plays on Deco's

3. Bayern has just signed Frings for 10M, a midfielder as well

4. Deco doesn't fit into the system. Too much showtime without efficiency. Ze Roberto has already a hard time in Munich.

Id take Gerrard over Deco anyday. Why would Barca get him? Ronaldinho plays same position, and do i really need to elaborate. He should just stay at Porto, because all the bigger clubs already have someone better than him in that position.

I understand Chelsea... although I do think Deco is superior to Gerrard except at defending.

If Deco joined Chelsea, Lampard would have to play behind him as an holding midfielder instead of the role he had this year. Gerrard plays well (sometimes) with Lampard in the National Team. Gerrard is younger than Deco as well and is already adapted to english football, which Deco is not.

Ehhm, I really like the idea of having him at Barcelona, but then Xavi should move to defensive midfielder, and that's gonna be hard to accomplish coz Xavi instinctively goas on the attack. With Deco, Barcelona would have 3 offensive Midfielders (without counting the wingers) Dinho, Deco and Xavi.. That'd mean Xavi gets benched, and I don't thin they should do that, after al he's catalan. I think FCB should concentrate on getting a defensive midfielder. Someone that works hard on the midfield, like Davids. He'll probably go somewhere else, so FCB would need someone like Viera or something (not that he would make the move, but you get the point..) but I don't think Deco is really necessary for FCB...
