RIP for those innocent victims that died in this awful tragedy..

i wonder what would have happened if this killer was muslim:nape: ..
so what does such incidents show to us?
pyscho's are everywhere, muslim, south korean, north korean , american, races and religion doesnt really matter, anyone could be a pyscho..

-before doing what most of you always do , (which is looking for something to disagree) just take your time and realize that this is the "TRUTH"
Why the hell do you have to bring "Muslim" into this ?

Seriously why ? What the **** "Muslim" sentiment got anything to do with this ? Are you trying to say that the whole world gives you people an injustice stereotype of being man-slaughters ? Don't be a ******* cry baby...

i do not want to get into such an argument with you because of my respect for all those that died in this tragedy..
i wanted to point something out, and i still believe there is something else we should all learn from this incident. mad people are all around our planet, they do not have a specific race or religion. thats all i wanted to point out.

How many more school shootings before Americans finally realize they cannot handle their guns?

It's sad that such a rich, developed country, a so-called world leader, fail to handle these situations and minimize the loss of these unnecessary lives.

Do the American public really need to the right to bear arms?

Agree, that's why this kind of deplorable events that happen without a apparent reason only occurs in the United States.

RIP for all those inocent victims.

Well yes in deed, people with psychological issues are everywhere ... but the massive access to weapons is a particular subject of the US.

It also happened in Denmark several years ago, and I believe also in Scotland and Germany from what I've heard. And it's not that countries like Denmark have a lack of messed-up people....we just have WAAAAY different gun policies. (:/)

Agreed. Gun access would indeed be a big part of the issue.

...32 killed; my prayers are with vtech and its students.

like the east-coast posters i also know people who attend vtech, they are ok from what i heard.

this is going to stir up the whole gun control thing, since it's so easy to buy guns in va. and the media's having a field day with this one; their so-called on site "interviews" were (N).

Taking away guns wouldn't do anything, don't think we can't use crossbows.

Morbid thing to say, but it's true. Felons who can't own guns own crossbows.

The bow technology would be improved to become smaller.

I wasn't saying that universities shouldn't spend money on research, of course they should and it's important to our society like you said. I just find certain parts of it like conducting studies on which car colour is least likely to get ointo an accident wierd. Anyways, they can't do all that much about gun laws. When you think about it, most criminals don't use registered guns do they? Some people say that it just creates a hassle for law abiders. I heard some American show say that they could prevent this from happening if they armed kids at campuses. Now that is a stupid idea. Mixing teenage Americans with guns is dumb

:|

That reaffirms completely what I said before. And apparently this is not only due to the American laws, but also to the idiosyncrasy of people there, according to those opinions.

you're taking my words out of context. what i'm saying is that it is incredibly easy to buy a gun in VA.

i'm sensing controversy, assuming your post was a rebuttal (and the michelle malkins thread).

I thought Denmark is the safest country in the world, in terms of homicides, however it has one of the highest suicide rates in the world.

This is sort of random but I just found out that Canada's the fourth worst or I think dangerous country to work in from some ranking thing. Argentina is the worst and Romania is second. And a country like Denmark isn't violent or unsafe because people commite Suicide, that's something completely different.
