Man, just found out an Indonesian student also got killed there. The victim and I attended the same university while he was in Indonesia.

Is that really the pics of the psycho ? Man, if it does, what worries me the most is that is the kinda pics and expression I often see on the "Member Photo" thread :(

What's even more worrying is that your latest is the only one I remember with a pissed-off look. And you're Asian too!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!

That's beyond the point. Students carrying guns on campus was also illegal and banned yet this psycho did it anyway. So what if you ban everything? People will still find ways around the law.

Exactly.

Where's the outrage that 140 people died in Baghdad yesterday?

Oh relativity...

Baghdad is a war zone, Virginia Tech is a college campus in a town of 40,000 people...

Gun crazy this country is! Ban S3X but not guns. ( sad that I had to spell it like that since "S3X" is probably a profane word here?) very smart.

So based on the circumstances you're saying different lives lost in tragedy in different areas of the globe deserve less or more than other lives some place else?

Life is run through a series of random events. Yes, they are in a war zone--but the fact that it happened to a certain person is a matter of timing and luck. The fact these 30 people died was also a matter of timing and luck. Yet the Virginia Tech's students timing and (bad) luck somehow makes them more worthy of memory (obviously they should be remembered) than 140 people somewhere else?

And if it were 140 westerners killed in a war zone? Yeah.

That's not what I'm saying. Basically it is more likely for 140 people to die in a war zone than it is for 32 to be murdered by a crazy maniac in a small peaceful town which is why the media is giving it so much more attention.

Agree with what I'm saying and stop being emo (H)

Joe, stop preaching, mate. I know that you dont give a **** about those people in Iraq.

Let Iraqees worry and televize about their 140 deaths, and let Americans worry about their 33... we cannot worry about every one,

Well allowing MORE guns is not the answer. I mean you see angry kids all around the world, and yet it seems only in the U.S.A. do shootings like this happen often.

Guns Law here are very loose! They should be like Bombay! There are undercover cops everywhere, they can just stop u anywhere and check you and even if they find a small knife on u they will take you to police station and beat you until every bit of ur skin is blue! And if they find shotgun/rifle on you, they arrest you under POTA (Prevention of Terrorist Act) and from there on the investigation continues.... Police Station in Bombay is like a ****in hell!!!! Even hell is better than that!!!!!!

**** you too asshole. Death is death is death, we're all humans and the only thing that distinguishes a civilian that dies in Iraq from a civilian that died at Virginia Tech is that one was born to Iraqi parents, and one was born to parents that didn't support him enough to get him into a good school (not too soon for jokes anymore!).

It's obvious you, sir, don't give a **** about Iraqis, but you have no idea what Joe cares about and where his moral values lay. It looks to me that he is probably not a xenophobic, nationalistic, prick like yourself.

I won't compare Bush to Cho, but I damn well can compare some of those crazy, racist, unaccountable, psychotic hicks that work for Security NGO's who have been going around killing so mercilessly that they have had to be brought under the United States Uniform Code of Military Justice despite not even serving in the military.

Don't know wheter this has been posted yet ( or still working ) :

I think it's really sad that this kid felt the only option he has was to do this. He was a psychotic maniac with delusions of grandeur and extremely unstable, but I think everyone knows a kid who got picked on incessantly for the first 18 years of their lives. It's the same story with Columbine, and all the other school shootings. The kids who have been so tormented by this society finally snap and turn violent.

However, the video really makes me question what the hell was running through his mind. It seems like he's taking a stand on behalf of Koreans, or Asians, which is odd. I can rationalize with myself him trying to take a stand on behalf of shy kids who get picked on their entire lives, but some of what he says seems like he's disgusted with the white man boning Asian women? Very strange, the kid was f-ing crazy.

And speaking about getting picked on and bullied, could Lee be on a rampage now looking for each and every single one of us ?

What bothers me is that:
On the form, a box is checked, showing that Cho "presents an imminent danger to himself as a result of mental illness."
And yet, despite never "recovering" from this condition he can go out and purchase firearms. When insane people can go out and buy weapons you have problems.

Also, the dude was an English major?? Sorry, WTF? Those plays, from a purely technical point of view (ignoring the :drevil: disturbingness :drevil:) would have ben a pretty poor effort for a highschooler
