Even if the ref is a softy, you do not want to be sliding around your penalty area, put tackling to normal, and if the ref is a nutter, I.E Uriah Rennie, then stick your tackling on easy.

Also if it is wet you shoulld put passing on Direct as passing will be low if one short etc

Also turn "run with ball" off for on individual player instruction. Giggsy and Pires would be useless dribbling on a boggy pitch. Only Stanley Matthews was capable of that.
