Based on my own experiences I'd suggest that youth players are simply defined by their player ids being 400000 or over. I believe that if you create a player in the normal player id range, irrespective of their age, but don't assign them to a club team then manager mode will treat them as 'retired' rather than youth players available through scouting or the youth academy.mrliioadin;2308873 said:as far as I can tell youth players are born in 1990 or later. 1989 is not youth. You can create players with a normal ID then make their birthdate 2007 and I believe it works just fine but it will take more testing.
mrliioadin;2308869 said:When you transfer players in CM07 it should take as long as you are saving your database. You cannot make adjustments within FIFA 07 and expect them to remain in tact. You either edit using FIFA 07 or CM07 not both.
Rinaldo;2300470 said:Actually you cannot use only CM07 to make this job but you need Db master too.
1) Open the fifa db with db master
2) Select the players table
3) Select a player (better if its attributes are similar to the one you want to edit)
4) Select the menu Record-Copy
5) Select the menu Record-Paste
6) Go to the record of the new added player (often the last one in the table)
7) Modify its playerid to the one of the player you want to add (be sure that the same id is not already used)
8) Save
Now you can open CM 07 and complete the editing of the player just added.

I don't know if this is due to the actual Fifa game or CM07.
Any help would be appreciated.
