Im so nervous...!!!

Here are the formations...

Kibe Kru

Starting XI
Full Time, River deservedly through...

the pitch is a war at the moment, shame shame...

a team that wants to be recognized worldwide can't act like this... you win, you lose, but you don't do this kind of stuff

Best of luck to River against Libertad

Good win for River, unfortunately the game could not finish at full time due to the field invasion by some morons (don't deserved to be called fans) Good thing nothing happened to any players on both sides...

WE ARE THROUGH...!!!

Amazing second half by River, even losin 1-0 the players kept the calm.

And Higuain was on fire when he enter the pitch...2 goals by the Pipita.

Corinthians was only Tevez. Hopefully he will go to europe after the WC.

But in the end a bittersweet taste, pitch invasion, the violence...we will never learn here in Southamerica.

Anyway, im too happy, im going to drink a beer or something...

And...ES PARA BOCA QUE LO MIRA POR TV...!!!!

Starting XI
funny how brazil had the most sides in this round, yet only Sao Paulo and Inter managed to progress (and Inter had the ref help).

Now River, please go all the way and beat them bambis.

Chau Gambas :ewan:

For the past week I've put up with so much **** from Corinthians supporters that it's been unbearable. They've been worse than Boca fans...

I didn't catch the game(had class) but from what I'm reading, Paco Gerlo had the game of his life. We finally won on the road! Something we haven't done in forever... :rockman:

Now to face Libertad again!!!

Vamoooooooo Riverrrrrrrrrrrrr! :rockman:

Step by Step...

First Libertad, then we'll see...

Next week are the last matches of the Libertadores until after the WC :kader:

Hopefully we will have Zapata, Montenegro and Falcao fit for that game...

River will buy Caceres, he was on loan...

BTW, Mourinho was in the stadium watching Carlos Tevez, so he will surely will go to Chelsea.

Nice, I managed to predict all 8 teams to go throught, I'll go buy myself something nice now. (I and another 5 of my family members had a little pool going on, for each round, not much, just 120 bucks.)

BTW, I haven't seen the River game yet, I have it on my Tivo, I'll see it later tonight.

Impressive win by River. It was amazing to see Caceres defending so well while being injured. He was in pain throughout the whole game but he did an excelent job.

Libertad beat Tigres on PKs and will face River in the quarterfinals. BTW the Tigres player that missed the penalty (Emilio Martinez, Paraguayan) was a fomer Libertad player (6)

Estudiantes also went through despite losing 3-1 against Gorias

Yeah, Caceres was amazing, one leg and he stay in the pitch...Our president anounce that we will buy him (he was on loan).

Here is a present to all the rest of Brazil, enjoy...

The game was fantastic (a war). I remember when the players came out and the stadium was shaking.

Iguain's (sp?) 1st goal was magnificent and River played one of the best games Ive seen them play all year (maybe the best). They left it all on the pitch.

1 thing, Corinthians fans are pathetic. They act as if Corinthians getting eliminated was a travesty (as if they were an "elite team"). Please, Nacional is a 3 X World and Libertadores champion and youll NEVER see any fan do what they did (it was incredible)

BTW1) Was that fan dead they were carrying off?

2) Did anyone see when they showed the open door and the cop completely beating the hell out of 1 fan?

3) In the 42nd minute of the 1st half, did anyone notice the "Osama Bin Laden" Corinthians fan? lmao.

4) Snyper, on top of what you said, when Corinthians scored, they showed 2 Boca fans hugging the Corinthians fans and singing. Swear Boca fans are too funny at times.

Kibe Kru

Starting XI
1) Injured, yes, not dead fortunately.
2) Police did a good job in avoiding a total tragedy, but I couldn't watch the match on tv, so if a cop did do that, then he has to answer for his actions

As for Corinthians fans, they were obviously wrong, and I won't defend them at all. but they felt frustrated that the side priorized the tournament this time and had possibly the worst luck of the brazilians (in the opponents they met, I mean). Still, nothing can possibly explain what they did.
