I'm disagreeing that it was a bad copa. Brazil and Argentina were not that impressive, but they were unlucky as well. Also, we should give credit to quality and improvement of other teams like Venezuela and Peru.
Semi finals would be exiting, Paraguay-Uruguay would be a good final but I want Peru to win it.

as for predictions: you obviously forgot (which is fair enough), but for the WC, I had predicted all 4 semifinalists (obviously including Uruguay), and the finalists too ... got the winner wrong coz my heart couldn't not back the Dutch ...
so, basically, me backing Uruguay is nothing new, and has everything to do with their attacking trio being favourites of mine ....

1) They were done after the start of the Tournament
2) You call them "ideal" and make no comment at all that they are actually predictions instead of what you just want to see
Why am I positive #2 is a justified criticism? Because of this post:
Where you seem to give every indication that "ideal" is different from what you actually think is going to happen (i.e. is plausible). Nice try though; 2 Semi-Finalists is respectable for an above average fan.

ah you found a prediction post! I couldn't find that one or the other one I was looking for quickly enough, so I used the notepad text I had saved on my computer ... the one you quoted was actually done after the draw was made in 2009, comparing my ideal WC to one based on strenght on paper ...ShiftyPowers;3069694 said:
