Obviously it's very different from the European cities I'm used to, very vibrant and the people are great, very friendly (at least the places I've been to). Didn't really go around seeing the typical tourist attractions since I'm not really into that. Instead I just kind did the stuff regular Paulistanos would do I guess...shopping, chilling, drinking and picked up quite a bit of portuguese (obviously she tought me stuff too). It's amazing how quickly you pick things up when you're there :d
Her parents have a house at the beach near Santos so I stayed there too. Great city too with the beach and all that.
Gotta say I really loved SP, especially the general vibe, I could definitely live there. In fact I'm looking into doing some sort of internship at USP...I'll see how that goes.

I'd say São Paulo can be great for holiday or something, but to live (and consequently having to work) here is a pain in the ass. I hope you get this thing at USP so you can confirm me that (or not), hehehe.
But yeah, I admit the city has some great attributes.
By the way, I do some studies at USP, and I work close to the university as well (actually it's a place inside the campus), so lemme know if you get the internship.
