Wanted: Costa Rican Premier League teams

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see a Costa Rican Premier League patch or kits for Fifa 08. Some of Bobscratchit's 07 kits have been deleted, so I can't even go back and use those.

I spent a term in Costa Rica when I was in college ten years ago and fell in love with the soccer teams (esp. Saprissa), and I've been looking for a Costa Rican league patch for FIFA for literally YEARS without success.

This is a great thread. Thanks to all the kitmakers for their hard work.

Then click on the filefront or bigupload download icon. download file.

you need to have creation master installed (if you don't have it, you can download it at www.sweetpatch.com), open creation master and open the data, go to patch, load, and then select the .CMP of the USL league. Load, and save, it should be ready.

In the process of testing the USL-1 patch & messing with the Database via CM, I've done something to the database.

When I try to begin any game, even with MLS stock teams, there are no players listed, and then the game crashes.

I should be clear that this is most likely NOT a problem of the patch.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but continue to get the problem. My suspicion is that I'm not deleting all the files and that with each reinstall, the corrupted files are not being updated.

Any advice?

What's the latest with the CONCACAF Champion's League patch? Are the bugs worked out of it, or is it still being worked on? Has anybody used it yet past the first season?

I would try to reset your squads to the originals.

Do you mean that you reinstalled the entire game? That should fix it. but you could delete your Fifa 08 directory from your hard disk after uninstall and if there is a Fifa 04 folder in your My Documents, delete or change the name of it (only if you want to save your profiles and careers)

Are you using windows vista?, I was having some really weird things happen when I'm using windows vista with messing with the .db. Just wondering.

I heard from DCUnited that it's fixed, but he will release then fixed version with the MLS update. At it's current state, I don't think you can play past the first season.

Yes, there will be an update for sure. its just for the sake of time, and i think possibly the availability of good photos was the problem the first time around. I think.

but we will do an update

Donovanfan, is the USL-1 cmp patch still up for download? I downloaded the zip file and extracted it as far as I could, but everytime I use CM to load the patch, there's never a cmp file for me to choose. Am I doing something wrong?

EDITED: Never mind, I figured it out. The file just didn't have a .cmp extension, so it wasn't showing up in CM. Just had to rename it.

Hey, donovan - I'm back in the game...Been kinda busy over here so I havent been on the map lately - but I downloaded the patch and will be trying it out tonight...Thanks for the credit - I'm just trying to help...

I have made some more flags and Adboards - Atlanta and Carolina if you want to implement those into an update - or I can upload them here - whatever you want...

So, are we going to do USL-2? If so then let me know and I'll start on Harrisburg...Thanks, man!!!

Something got into me computer and was deleting all of my .exe files!!! So, I've had to recover some of the programs I was using before I could get started back to work...

I've actually updated the USL 1.0 - with new players and included all the adboards...I'm going to try and work on Seattle, Miami and Puerto Rico...

I've also worked on the MLS rosters and such - BUT would love to know if you know how to link a league with a Tournement - because you cant use USL teams in career mode plus I would like to expand the US Open Cup to include the USL 1 and 2 teams...Thanks!!!

It's not hard to link a league to a tournament. I think the league id has to match the assetid in both the tournament and league. Something like that and the appears in career mode has to be checked.

I already made the US Open cup expanded with USL 1 and it's in the USL 1 patch. But it's not hard to link it and include it in career mode. I've already done it in one of my computers I think.

I'm kind of slow on working on stuff lately.

not to correct you, khris but me and someone else posted that it doesnt work in career mode. maybe we are the only ones with the problem but noone posted otherwise.
