Hi

Hello guys, I´m from Costa Rica and has followed your work during the last months; however, this is the first time I post.... I just wanna congratulate you for your work and tell you that I finished a Costa Rican National Championship patch last month. If you need the patch for your CONCACAF patch just tell me... On the other hand, I made the kits following the originals`structure, but I`m completely sure they have thousands of mistakes; so, if someone can help improving them it would be great... :cool:

It crashes on the nations selection screen when going through the different countries before you click to go select the different tournaments.

I fixed the tournament problem by changing the year to 2007.Seems kind of strange but it worked

DC United, I noticed that in the MLS patch that there was a youth player on a squad. That's with a playerid over 400000. That will cause problems at the end of the season, when another year is started. I don't know what team it was, I didn't take note of it.

I'm sure you could just clone the player or change the playerid or something.

All you need to do is get bobscratchit to get his costarican league kits into 08 format. He said he was going to do it, but haven't heard anything from him.

I just need to update some players faces of the teams that I made, and update some of the kits, and well be done with USL 1

If you want to, you could start on USL 2 teams if you want. I don't know if you have anything you want to adjust on your teams for USL 1. From what I've seen, they're not bad.

those may be the positions they currently play but their natural positions, at least chris klein's arent those.

isn't the MAIN goal of this patch to be as accurate and uptodate as possible ?

2 Mike Randolph = Left Midfielder
granted he's a bit 50/50, non the less he has played more midfield than defense already this season

4 Ante Jazic = Left Back
used to be the clubs main leftback, only filled in in the center when injurys/suspensions hit the team

7 Chris Klein = Right Back
Klein plays at Right Back since last season, is aswell listed as a defender on the official website btw

16 Joe Franchino = Central Midfielder
all his appereances for LA have come in that position and were very succsessful, highly unlikely he would play another position

19 Josh Tudela = Central Midfielder
whenever he played last and this preseason it was central midfield

26 Elly Allen = Left Midfielder
played left midfielder, sometimes high up.

28 Sean Franklin = Center Back
yes he can play probably anywhere on the back, but he plays almost exclusevly at centerback

You know what I love about patches - is that I have never complained about what their contents were, because I wasn't putting the effort into the patch itself - I was just attempting to gain the fruits of other people labor.

What I dont understand is when people complain but then arent there to help you when asked...Lets take for example the USL patches that Ive been helping to create...

Will everyone look like they are supposed to in real life? NO.
Will all their ratings be on par with the level of play that they are at? NO
Will every kit have every little detail? NO

Why? Because I would rather have an 90% that people can enjoy and change themselves - then NO product at all because we are trying to make it TOO perfect...which it will never be...

So, thank you donovanfan, DC and hjbs for your contributions to the CONCACAF region - a region that doesnt get as much attention as it should...because without this nobody would be able to enjoy the fruits of your labor...

nobody's complaining, as far as i've seen its giving feedback and advice. there's a difference.
