Let Australia host it, atleast you know you will get a World Cup on time.

Yeah 4 sure, we dont even need to build new stadiums or refurbish, as we've got some of the best stadiums u'll find and they have capacities of average 70,000 not like the german's who had maximum 72,000. the MCG and Telstra stadium can hold close to 100,000 and would be awsum venues for the final.
U get bigger crowds and good organisation, we've already hosted the Sydney 2000 olympics of course and we hosted the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne this year.

AUSTRALIA FOR 2010, 2014 & as a last resort 2018!!!

I heard somewhere that we wanted to organise WC 2018 like EURO 2000 with the Belgians. Would be marvelous to have a WC so close. (Y)

Ummm no.

I doubt it's FIFA's policy to hold it's prized event in a nation currently embroiled in civil war. Additionaly, Bogota is one of the most violent cities in the world.

Colombia's request to host the WC is a complete joke. Why not Iraq 2018?

They should have it in Brazil, that'd be fantastic. Beaches, great parties, sexy women, great football. And seeing a final in the Maracana would be awesome.

Correction, it used to be one of the most violent cities in the world, today is as violent as it is New York or Mexico D.F.

Argentina-Brazil wouldn't make sense, because either country could host it by themselves. However i'd rather see Argentina hosting a Copa América than a world cup.:o

but still.....NO! and canada? do they have a league? or any decetn stadiums?

Canada has stadiums, and with improvement they could easily host a world cup specially with the great transportation in this country.

About a league thats another thing, if Canada was to host a World cup it would create a decent league to the country

PS- Canada is hosting the World Youth Cup 2007 - we'll see how it turns out :)

Irs being kept under wraps but it was said in some show that the US and Canada are wanting to come together to host either the 2014 or 2018 World Cup. Dont kno why the US would need Canada to get involved.
