I have W8, but I have not the CM 14.1, I looked at the site is still Rinaldo CM14

It seems that the database is modified properly so I cannot do anything else, maybe it is FIFA 14 that ignores that database field.

Open the players table with DBM and edit players kick animations that way.

Then the kick style values don't make any actual difference (some db table values don't), or you're not editing the table correctly, one or the other.

I haven't tried it. But there is an issue with DBM: sometimes when you edit the tables using the tool itself, your edits won't stick. So I always export the table, open and edit in Excel, then import back into the db. That way it works every time.

Okay I'll try that and see what happens

I used the cm14 released, and create a new league using UGC (creation center league), when playing on kickoff, the stadiums appear to play on night, no matter the settings in game to have the time 3:00 pm, someone else you last the same?

You can assign/re-assign any commentary to any player by editing the commentary table in the db using DBM. I've done it with both created players and default players who had no commentary assigned to them.

In Stadium Weather changes don't take effect. I've tried to set Allianz Arena and Sanderson Park weather to "can snow" but in game changes don't appear.
CM14 gives this option to select stadium weather but savings have no effect in game.
In game when selecting game settings I get only the default Clear and Overcast options but no Snowy.

I will yhink about it but there is a major problem, which is the fitting rule ? As you said there are "similar strings" not the same, when two similar strings are fitting ?

Could it be the following criterion right:
When the tool recognizes that there are spitting strings in "teamtechid" and "teamkittypetechid" columns, then it will report them as switchable

Like I said, a number of values in the various db tables (many stadium table values for example) don't change anything in-game when edited, so maybe kickstyle is another one.
