Lyon showed it's class, not doubting that, they did play better and they showed why they are one of the best teams in Europe.

We could of gotten at least a draw out of this had it not been for Carlos's s*it performance. First goal is the worst blunder in the history of football. On Tiago's goal, I'm just wondering...why is Mr. Carlos on his goal line when the ball is crossed to the near post (where he is at) inside of the 6 yard box :fool:. He just sat there and waited for the ball to fall onto somebody head instead of going in for the punch like a real goal keeper should.

The last 20 minute or so belonged to us. We had some great passing combinations around Lyon's box and for a while there I thought we could actually come back but we were poor on our finishing tonight. We showed that we can play at this level and in my opinion the scoreline doesn't tell the tale of game. You can look at statistics all you want Callum but if you actually saw the match you would know that 3-0 isn't truly representative of the match. But oh well, it is 3-0 and it's like we're starting all over againg now with a 4-4 goal differential. I'm confident about the home game against Real and I think we can get a result. A draw would not be bad. We just need to be a little more aggressive from the start and not leave our offensive game aside until we go one goal down. I hope Olaroiu makes the tactical changes necessary and realizes this himself, he's a good manager and I have trust in him.

Our players played well today but the lack of experience showed, it will come with time .

remember Alex what I've said some time ago about Carlos ? but let's be realistic, Lyon is the best team in Europe right now, ... we shouldn't lose our confidence ..I'm sure the boys will regain their form and make again beautifull games like those with Kiev and Betis..chin up and Forza Steaua

Cheered, sang, applauded and whistled when they needed to and didn't stop the whole match, even after the 3rd goal they were still supportive and showed real class. MAJOR props to the fans in the stadium tonight

Eh, it's our first season in the CL after 10 years. We shouldn't expect to beat teams like Lyon so fast Maybe in a couple of seasons

naah, Bara are one level up from all other teams. i'm not a Bracelona fan, but everybody should admit Barcelona being way better.
Lyon are great, according to me maybe second place after Bara, alongside Chelsea/Arsenal/Milan, lyon are true football machine, but Barcelona are not only as good as them, but also able to win importnat matches on high levels. Notto mention the less important ones.. They're won just like.. automatically..

Well, did you see tonight's Werder - Barcelona? Werder played great, but a late goal from Messi brought Barcelona 1 point. So Barcelona isn't unbeatable ... Lyon kinda is (for the moment)

you're right. HOWEVER (): Barcelona is not only bigger in terms of being able to win important games, but also greater at home. Lyon, ot the other hand, are playing also higher motivated when playing away: they always win away, even against teams like Bayern Muenchen...
Barca in the CL- more like home winning. When playing away they've struct some draws like this one with Werder. HOWEVER!: Werder are great team too, so don't mess up with them and Barca, saying "Barca are not that kinda good, cos they draw Werder." Yeah, they did, but Werder are great too. Especially the guy that came from FC Porto - Diego. He's.. impressive.
