1) MODDER spends much TIME on editing (Zooming in: knowledge, skill, experience gained day by day)

2) NEWBIE wants to "taste", feels awesome when making something "NEW" by himself. He needs a basement to work on. He will be a great MODDER with TIME.

So, the IMPORTANT KEY is TIME.

What do you think if I suggest:

MODDER will take "texture design" from NEWBIE and finalize patch.

To sum up

NEW SCOREBOARD = NEWBIE (texture) + MODDER (hex)

Finally, we will have many many many scoreboards with cooperation from both MODDER and NEWBIE.

As for the colaboration thing. I wouldnt consider myself a newbie because i cant hex ... that would suggest that i want to hex. Im good at graphics thou. And since I'm still a hopeless fan of the world cup 2010 (and still upset that the game for that never made it to the pc), i would throw in my texture making for the world cup 2010 scoreboard if there is a hexer out there aiming to do that.

no, hexers have to hex first.

we can hex the textures into one texture, then edit the texture.

if the hexers have the harder part of the shared mod, then we will determine how the texture is made.

there is no way in hell i will apply hex to a texture, its has to be reversed.

Oh, forget to tell you I did that, only 1 texture for scoreboard plus 1 texture for TV channel ! Well, let me see if I would think about the release in the future ! Hope CJD will do it too ! I'm still busy now !

Well if there is a colaboration why cut off the process on any part? The designer could make a preview screen of how the final SB should look like, so like a tv-screenshot but with own graphics. And then the hexer says which part of this texture he needs in which size, margin etc. ... then the designer delivers the parts and the hexer puts it together.

Very interesting project, maybe I'll give it a try as a newbie later this month....

exactly, but its not about compliments man, its about the lack of effort someone puts in.

sure its easy to say hey, you worked really hard on an sb for 4 months, just give me the offsets.

it aint like that w/ me man, if i have to put in the effort so should someone else.

not everyone has a source, they have a mind & patience to play around, test & so forth.

in the end it is all about sharing, me myself shares the final product, not the keys to doing it.

its like buying your favorite food from your favorite restaurant, they will give you the food, but you will never get the recipe.

i partially agree. in exemple of restaurants (and it works anywhere), ppl hide information to make money. here, this is no business. nobody is making money out of it. i understand that it can be a pain to make some effort and ppl dont realise that. but as exemple of myself, back in fifa07-08 times (when i starting editing - or newbeing, as MD says), i was completly unaware of anything. and i loved the new faces. and guess what, arnau which was the best facemaker around, gave up a tutorial, and months later, i was to be considered (and thats not me who says) the best brazilian facemaker...

when i first saw MD works, i was amazed. its very nice to have a more realistic game. a shame he didnt release tho. then cjd made his own, and was awesome. before that i had my try, specially after evlutions release, which helped me alot, just by releasing hsi work. anyways, now im very thankful to cjd for his efforts, and i hope he releases more of his works, cuz i cant make anything as good.

i wont have someone send me a texture that took 10 minutes to make.
since a detailed kit only takes me 10 to 20 minutes to do, i did my europa league sb texture in about 5 minutes.

while i spend a few days hexing it together, honestly i could just make a sb for myself when i get tired of doing whatever else im doing, updating my db & my gameplay files, which is what im focused on now.

not to be a ass, but im making for fifa what i want, & ill do requests for members when i feel like it.

so for say you to give a 10 minute texture & have me stop for days on what im doing to do the hexing, while i get a post every 5 minutes saying something like "yo rc is it done yet ?", etc, etc isnt gonna fly w/ me.

honestly it wouldnt be a big deal to me if members of this community had patience, but lets be honest
80% of the members dont even know what that is.

Well i have textures for the following

Epl
UCL
uefa europa
wc 2010
and about 20 others

I have now become really good at hexing and it takes me about 30 min to make a fantastic Sb ...
So my aim is to make Every Sb that a user request and release quickly.

In a couple of hrs i will post screens of Sb's which i will start making now.
