But they wouldnt tell a player..."Sorry, you're not of Mexican decent, you're not on the team." They wouldnt even try getting that player, and isnt it a team's right to buy anyone they want?

They would get a lot of players from the local amateur leagues, there are a lot of really good players there.

In reply to Celt who asked in the original post why the MLS sells its best talent overseas: It's because right now the talent level is higher over there, therefore it is in the national team's best interest if our best players are playing at the highest level day in and day out. The MLS will come along only if the NT enjoys consistent success.

Were NO.5 in the world (MEXICO) and we only have 3Mexicans out in Europe playing soccer. Like CHIVAS in Mexico (This goes for kid us supporder moron) 1st of all they do not discriminate or are racist IDIOT! They are just proving that they do not need people from other countries to win CHampionships and their Championship cups say it all (10 Record all-time) I would agree with CHIVAS San Diego if they put all CHICANO Mexicans in the team. That will be cool and send the rookie players over to USA and when their ready take them to the Mexican league. That will work for me.

MLS wouldn't allow that.

Not allowing people to play for a team because of nationality is discrimination. It is pretty simple.

Also, FIFA rankings are BS. Mexico would be a lot better if their players tried to play overseas. The Mexican League is alright but if you play against higher competition you can become a better player. The Mexican League is no where near the EPL, la liga, Serie A, etc. Mexican players should follow the example of Marquez in that he went to play in Europe and now he starts on one of the biggest clubs over there.
