both teams were allready guaranteed through so neither was taking too many chances. there was always a chance of suspension or injuries. both teams were looking to the match this weekend in the epl, so a boring defensive match was expected

Predictable game and a predictable result. At work today I said it would be a dull 0-0 draw with both teams giving no time and space. Thank god both these teams don't play each other again for a while.

Yeah a pretty negative game as expected.Still no harm done.As my mate Runar said......we are both through anyway. No advantage being top or second as far as i can make out.Its a different mentality needed for the knock out stages, and thats what i'm looking forward to.Theres quite a while to go before the next games get to be played. Some teams will improve by then and some teams will experience a dip in form so who knows what will happen.I for one dont care who we meet, although i would love Barcelona again.I wouldnt be too confident(like some people) that Real Madrid will still be crap by the time the next stage rolls around,so wanting them could be some teams undoing.Things change quickly in football.Teams will suffer injuries and a thousand things could go wrong for a club. Now the CL gets interesting......... :)

Pleased with another clean sheet we were hardly troubled :) Essisen gets away with another leg breaker :kader:

well with a 9 man defence that was to be expected mate.

Yeah that Essien tackle was sickening. He is lucky the ref missed it.And we got the free kick.....stupid ref.We had 2 offsides that were clearly on.....stupid linesman.Mind you ,Sissoko is a bit of a clumsy git as well .

I didnt see anything outside of minutes 55-60. It looked like we were turning the screws at that point, but if anyone honestly expected this to be an exciting draw, I dont know what to tell you. Liverpool were never going to play ball with the position they were in.

Sadly, Essien is starting to make this behavior a commonality. He is a tank out there, and i expect rough play from him, but when he becomes dangerously reckless with his challenges, he needs to be benched to learn his lesson. I dont think any of us want to win like that.

However, claiming he should be killed sounds like a manifestation of some kind of personal problem boiling to the surface, perhaps a nagging vaginal pain. People should get that kind of stuff looked at (Y)

ESPN have the unique knack of airing the most boring game of each matchday. Its uncanny.

Now don't get me wrong. I don't blame either team for playing the way they did but with so much at stake in the Milan-Shalke game, ESPN choose this...

and its the awesome Benfica-United game from a group which has provided us with a total of 8 goals :| while the other groups have scored 35, 36, 17, 29, 25, 26 and 34 respectively.

f*ck it.
