Actually you can't really say that because if Arsenal win their game in hand then they will be only 6 points behind Chelsea and that's the exact amount Chelsea is behind United. Otherwise it will mean that Chelsea is fighting for 2nd place.

Yeah a well fought win too. Good win again all in all. Plenty of creativity and no shortage of goal chances. Wayne Bridge was faultless throughout, definately M.O.M.

Another great strike from Frank too. JT came on for a few minutes at the end and his first contribution was a clearing flying header. He looks fit for sure. Now we can put Essien back in midfield and let him fly.

Yup 3 points behind Utd now. Lets all cheer for the Yids tomorrow and hope they bring the points total between us and utd a little closer.

Premiership champions Chelsea have handed Nigerian youngster Adigun Salami a second trial at the club.

The 18-year-old central midfielder spent time at Stamford Bridge back in November before returning back to Danish Superliga outfit FC Midtjylland.

But Salami has now been handed a second chance to prove his credentials after boss Jose Mourinho invited him back to train with the Blues.

"He is over here to get to know his way around," FC Midtjylland Sporting Director Jens Orgaard - who travelled to London with the player - told bold.dk.

Salami played 90 minutes for Chelsea's reserves against China on Monday, but Orgaard insisted there has not yet been any talk of a possible transfer.

"He is training, and yesterday he played a match. That's all," he added

that its exactly that, a rumour... Jorge is a starting CB and if he goes to chelsea he will be fighting RC for the starting job and there both great cbs who should be starting.. so basically hes not going there

true its only a rumour, but Andrade himself admitted that he would like to join Chelsea this summer and hook up with Carvalliho. But i don't think Chelsea will be interested in signing him, but who knows. i would rather have Jorge over Ben Haim.

Striker could make shock Chelsea return

Hernan Crespo admits his future still lies with Chelsea Football Club.


The Argentine striker is on a long-term loan deal with Inter Milan, and whilst he is enjoying his time back in Serie A, he admits he could easily find himself back at Stamford Bridge next season.

"I want to stay here, but the decision must be taken by Inter and Chelsea," said Crespo.

Crespo failed to settle in England following his £16.8million move from Inter to Chelsea in the summer of 2003, and has made no secret of his preference to life in Italy.
