God, love how the soonest SECOND Chelsea drop a few points, all the Man Utd fans descend on this thread like flies to ****, brilliant.

Well none of us would do it if it wasnt for idiot chelsea fans, pede being the brightest of them all. I remember a certain day when we lost to west ham, he came and had this long post going on about how man utd have lost it, they are going down hill and fergie is over. We arent half as bad as he is.

oh yeah, you're all as bad as each other.

I'm just highlighting how us Liverpool fans tend to take the moral highground (H)

Apart from in this post :(

Rumored that Chelsea owns 20 % of Carlos Salcido's transfer to PSV Eindhoven. So Chelsea has the first option of getting Salcido. Also said that Chelsea will go for him in the summer. What do you guys think of this player? That is if you have even seen him....

don’t get excited ladies there’s still half a season to go. At least we are not 9 or 16 points behind as you where at times of the season in past years. Man united HAVE to win this season seeing as they don’t have a chance of winning it any time in the next 4. No pressure dropping a few points is no concern. But I can see why you get excited seeing as you don’t remember the last time you where on to of EPL enjoy it while it lasts.

You start talking a little bit more sensible about this season and then go on and take arrogance to the whole new level.

So i presume that Chelsea will win the EPL in years 2008-2011? Or you mean that Arsenal and Liverpool will only be able to challenge Chelsea because they are both so much better than United?

Most of your core players are old and will decline or retire after this season, and looking at Chelsea they will only get stronger, Arsenal with its youngsters and Liverpool with this new take over they will have cash to spend they are pretty strong as it is. I cant see united winning EPL with Rooney and Fletcher sorry. btw by tomorrow the gap at the top will be 4 points lets not forget United are still to travel to the Emirates, Anfield and Stamford Bridge offcourse, I m quiet confident. kick back and enjoy the rest of the season.

Scholes, Giggs, Neville? Thats it really... dont forget Ballack, Makelele and Shevchenko are of similar ages...

I can, considering there'd also be a young solid defence of Foster in goals, Vidic and Rio in the middle, with Evra and Simpson down the sides, with back up provided by Brown, Pique, Evans, Bardsley. Carrick and Ronaldo will be there in the midfield, and Rooney upfront... Doesn't seem that bad to me, and thats without any transfers in...

Is that like the definate wins against Reading and Fulham?

Lets not forget you also have Liverpool, Arsenal and us to play, and judging by your recent standard of play, i'd be more worried sat where you are :)

............ We can bide our time, hold what we have, and when we are ready we will push ahead towards that title.

Looks like Cech is gonna be back in January now also. Carlo is just about ready too. With those two back and JT fighting fit we will be unstopable once again. The second half of the season is gonna be a joy to behold. Just a couple more weeks of holding our own, then its business as usual. :)

Absolutely NO point in reacting to the provocative Man U posts. As they say...."He who laughs last, laughs loudest".

Cullum.....I do not come into the Man U thread with insults and I do not come into the Man U thread and gloat matey. I might exchange a bit of banter in the actual match threads, but Iwhen I visit the Man U thread I try at least to make constuctive posts. Shame its not a two way thing.

Team threads should not be littered with crap. I said as much inside your own thread, so have the decency to snipe and argue somewhere else.

The team threads are not here so you can just abuse at will. If you have something constructive to say then fine, but leave the playground mentality out of it please.

Just shows how little you know about us and in fact anybody, Stotty said most of the things that i would have said. And Chelsea also has to travel to Anfield and Ashburton Groove as well, so what does that mean?

No offence didy, but this just isn't our season in terms of the Premiership. I'm not so confident anymore because if Man U were gonna have a decline than they would have by now. With all the injuries and the kind of goals being scored against us as well as how many times we're hitting the post and having chances being missed (like those three crosses Kalou missed against Fulham), as well as the bad conditions like the rain in the Fulham match, I don't think that this is the season.

If it happens though then I'll be over the moon but winning the Champions League and FA Cup should be looked at now. Mourinho said a while back that it would take him three season's to build a squad to win the CL and this is the 3rd season so hopefully it'll be the year. I think though that he's made some bad mistakes in making the squad too small though, especially after selling Gallas and not bringing in anyone before who'd play CB.

Are you serious man?

Its WAAAAAAAAY to early for fans to throw in the towel. The best part of the season is about to get under way. Sure up to now we have experienced all the back luck any team could get, although losing both our GK's for half a season has nothing to do with luck.

With the squad back to its full compliment, we will be up and at 'em again. There is at this time NOT enough points difference to be so negative. Man U WILL drop points as we saw today, and you should already know that we will never give up the fight....Never. This will be our season. We will win it for the 3rd time, and all the hardships will be put behind us and winning the league will be all the sweeter for it. Wait a little while longer, be patient, and watch us rise to the top. It is gonna be awesome.

There is no giving up if I’ve learned something about our club in the past few years is that we never say die, trust me I can already see it the show down at Stamford Bridge this is going to be way more interesting than the last 2 years despite all our bad luck and injury problems, we don’t seem to be too far behind united just imagine we didn’t have any of these problems then we would be leading by a reasonable margin. Once JT and Cech come back we will be 100% again.

Lmao at Ballack and that "clearance" vs. Fulham. The guy is nothing more than a liability at the moment.

We will win the title, all you doubters can **** off.

We can play this ****, and Man Utd can play that good and it will be only 4 points after we beat Villa? Man Utd are failing to close the door, and we will come back. They are lean in depth, way more lean then us.

They still have to travel to Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and will drop points at other places on the way.

No one is mentioning how they only beat Reading with two offside goals, and then let Newcastle put two past them, they aren't playing too flash.

Atleast we have a title race though.

Boulahrouz is a class defender give him some time for ****s sake. The fact that he's often being played out of position doesn't help either.
