This was the worst Chelsea peformance I have seen since the Abramovich era started. They looked so bad today, in every aspect of the game. Where is Chelsea's midfield this season?? It's like they move from the first 3rd of the field all the way to the last one with some ball over the top or a run from a defender or the forwards have to drop back all the way back to their own halfs to get the ball :|. This isn't at all like Chelsea. I don't know if its the formation or maybe the fact that Cole is not out there (although I doubt he would make THAT big of a difference) but something needs to change because right now Chelsea is looking VERY mediocre.

C'mon get real for Christs sake. The guys play like Gods on Sunday.....and throw away the match on Wednesday and that makes them a mediocre team? FFS we are 2 games into the season and already people are over reacting. We have Carlo in goal who, i think is now just a good GK who's positioning and decisiveness is nothing like it used to be. Joe Cole missing DOES make a difference and playing Maka and Essien in midfield together was not a good idea IMO.

Nice to see a Sheva goal, that was one positive at least.

We've had this before remember. We fu<k up, Jose gives everyone a bollocking and then we get back on track...win through to the next title. That'll do for me thanks... (Y)

agree with Pete, BUT to be fair mate, i think most of us are just ridiculing your performance againt Boro for a joke, we all know it means very little in the long run.
