Pending personal terms and medical, we've signed Moses for 7m plus 2m in add-ons. For a talented, young, homegrown player that's very good value.

We're closing in on Azpilicueta too. I think that'll be it but you never know. Llorente's agent has said that they're gonna choose a destination oit of 2 clubs, one in London and one in Manchesyer. My bet is that only one club is bidding, either us or Spurs, and the Manchesyer talk is meant tobget more money, since both Manchester clubs jave enougj strikers. Can't see it though, dont think Emenalo or Leby will cave to Athletic's demands.

So with Azpi confirmed and Moses nearly so, we're looking at:

Torres (Sturridge)
Mata (Marin) - Hazard (Oscar) - Ramires (Moses)
Lampard (Meireles) - Mikel (Essien, Romeu)l
Cole (Bertrand) - Terry - Luiz (Cahill) - Ivanovic(Azpilicueta)
Cech (Turnbull, Hilario)

That's pretty goid and doesn't take Yossi, Malouda or the youth guysinto consideration.

I forgot about Ferreira too. ReAlly allwe need is a competent 3rd choice ST and I rate our at wimning silverware as quite high.

Why wouldn't he be? Him and Hilario are the most easy-going guys. Torres actually mentioned Ferreira as a main help when he went to that horrible stage upon arriving at Chelsea. They're great to the locker room.

Moses official. As I said before, I really like this transfer. He's a cheap, young, talented, versatile, homegrown English player with a different set of skills to what we have. If he steps up, he could easily become a starter for England (or Nigeria, I forgot which one he prefers), and I feel he could offer something similar to what Malouda at his best was, or what Kalou could've been. He's strong and fast and his overall technique is good, he mostly gets by the opposition players like Malouda used to, quick change of pace and holding off the challenge. That's why I'm keen for him to develop his defensive awareness, since I feel he could be awesome as a Valencia/Malouda-type winger.

With that, we have a 23-man squad for the Premiership. We have our 8 Meaning that if we make no further signings, we'll still have to sell one foreign player before next season to fit those 3. That shouldn't be an issue though. I don't think the club is planning on signing anyone else. There's an off-chance that we'll sign a striker, and a very, very, tiny chance that we'll break the bank for a worldclass MC, but I doubt it. I think it's much likelier that the club will keep the squad as is, and keep two spots open in case we need reinforcements in January, keeping in mind that while generally players are more expensive in January, should Fernando Llorente still be available, he'd be much cheaper.

And that doesn't take into account that we still have Benayoun, Malouda and Ferreira who will all likely move on soon. I think the club has done superbly this transfer window and the squad has been very well-managed as well as fiscally intelligent.

That's been obvious for a while. Sturridge is our back-up ST. He'll play RW off the bench I bet, but with only two strikers, Sturridge will see more time there, and it's been clear from the start that RDM wants something different from his wingers, which was why Kalou played so much last year.

Btw, McEachran has gone to Middlesbrough on-loan, and had a good debut. They play a short-passing game. I would have preferred he go to a Prem club, but at this point he needs game. He has barely played competitive football, and this should be good for him, I expect him to be the absolute best player in the division and then move to a Prem club next season. He could be the missing link in the double-pivot, but he needs to step it up or we'll wind up signing someone.

No prem side would have played him regularly enough, this is a decent loan for him.

Are we gonna lose Kakuta?

Marseille want him on-loan with a look to buy. Frankly, he hasn't done much yet, and we have lots of talent in the attacking band. Wouldn't mind us losing him, but would obviously prefer to loan him out and decide at the end of the year.

It's just the hassle we went through signing him, and the fact that Drogba kind of made him his protege, would make me disappointed if he ended up a flop. Especially because if we let him go on the cheap I can see him flourishing elsewhere and being sold back to one of our rivals for big money.
