Some news on CEP project

CEP Career Expansion PatchWhile the work on the Christmas update is going fast thanks to the wide collaboration started after the 3.0 release and while we are going to release for that period the first versions of Chants Addon and Miniheads addon, while Rinaldo from Fifamaster is working hard on the special CEP Edition of his wonderful Creation Master (we hope to have this ready together with the Christmas Addon), I have to puntualize and clarify some points that are really annoying during this period and that come mainly from a small minority of CEP users, the ones whose main activity is just to blame and complaint.

First: the CEP is FREE, gratis, no-charge, i.e. you don't have to pay not a single cent for it ok? We share our passion and work without demanding NOTHING from anyone: we do this for free because the CEP staff doesn't take part at all in the Sweetpatch incomings (if any); so STOP COMPLAINING: if you want to see even more detail in next version just collaborate in a constructive way. As no patch has never been released for an action football game with so many leagues, the work to have even the less important player of the lowest team of the game is hard and is possible through constructive partecipation, not childish cryings.

Second: you are NOT forced to download and use CEP, so if you do, STOP COMPLAINING: you can always revert to the original game and to whatever patch you want reinstalling your game. I have been reported of some ridicoulous discussions about the LEGALITY to use a crypted db, to protect our patch, to complaing with EA and bla bla bla.. STOP COMPLAINING and READ the ***** faqs!: 1) we are working on a CM version to edit whatever you want of your CEP installation, 2) you are NOT forced to use CEP (I know Fifa is a bit more sad without it, but you ARE NOT forced to use it), 3) stop blathering about things that you neither know, grow up and learn do something positive and constructive instead of crying, 4) stop blaming about your league/division not being update, jump to Release and Status sections and see on which updates we are working actually.

As you are not forced (if this was not clear enough) to use the CEP I've decided to stop posting on other forums that are not the CEP official ones, as the main activity of many is just to spread their hate against a project that, JUST FOR FREE, tried to gather the efforts of many talents to provide you a FREE complete football experience with Fifa: seems like someone not only wants all this for free, but wants to use it for their own project too, while we are working since two years on this project. We don't ask you to praise us and give continously thanks, but just DO NOT COMPLAIN: I'm getting a bit tired of this situation, as I'm really bored of spending the 20% of the time dedicated to CEP to answer to mails of people who don't know about incoming CM compatibility and that just don't wanna spend neither a single minute reading the faqs.

Grow up and enjoy our work trying to help us improving it, or just uninstall and keep playing with your original unpatched Fifa: don't try to turning off our passion for this game due to a part of the community being formed by under-12, ok? Thanks

In the next CEP, you will simply see the Montenegro NAtional Team as well as the full Montenegro League
And you will find the full update of the rosters.

I dont think so because i think that at the next version of CEP, Okham is going to have George Best STILL playing at England national team. ROFL!!!

Of course you'll find George Best in the Manchester Utd classic teams, as well as Maradona in Argentina Classic and Pele in Brazil Classic.

Stop complaining, and thank god we have the patch to play with... 07 is so useless without it... I however agree that the database should be editable....I like editing players myself, its part of the game you know....

Sorry but I disagree. I have been playing Fifa 07 since its release date without the CEP and enjoying it very much.

Any chance of you guys making such nice patch for PES6? It would be great to have unlimited teams.. In that area FIFA is a dozen steps ahead of Konami.

actually, he will only alllow "partial editing" which, personally, is a sad thing...

he wouldn't need to "develop a version of cep that can be edited with creation master together with rinaldo" if you could edit everything. he would only need to publish the unencrypted database.

the answer is:
Don't install this crappy patch

you will get bugs, your game will crash to desktop at random, the poor quality of kits, the lost of comentators saying the name of the players,etc.

Don't install this crappy patch

Don't take your case for a generality boy..we are not responsible if some people don't even know how to run an exe
About kits, if you can make FIFA 07 run with all teams wearing 2GK kits without crash, then you are the God of Fifa editing and you've got a personal version of Fifa 07 that has never been sold..
If you take pleasure to criticize the other's work, try to release your patch, even with one new team in it, and then we will see.
It's always easy to slam on other's work, but when you can't do the same, it's always better to shut your mouth.
Nwo if you don't like CEP, keep it for yourself, you can play without it, and as long as I know, you are not called to make critics over our work.

If you start the patch, you will see that I'm simply the co editor of this patch
But only for additions and enhancement of it. I don't know what was the background of it, I joined in March last year, simply because I like what it gives to the game, in terms of realism in career mode.
But I'm not the one that update the leagues and teams in the db, anyway for that, we proceed by collecting the info given by collaborators about transfers, rosters and so on.
The database encryption is mainly due to the abusive use of the db in 06 version, I know that is not a pleasant for those who wants to edit their game, that's why we will make a CM compatible version, but just imagine you working days, months, spending your free time on making a huge patch as it is and just after, I download it, add some other things and publish it again as mine, or simply I take parts of it, waiting for it to be released, take the league I want and release a patch for this league...all that without asking you before. No one is aimed in that, simple that there were multiple abusive uses, without any ask.
