you can't criticize Ockham....if you find some error you have to segnalate it, and he correct, but you have to do a text files with the thing that are wrong...simple....he locked the database because some editer(??) steal his (but is our too...CEP is for fifa fans) work.If you want to collaborate send mail at Ockham or go in the official forum of CEp and send correct roster for your team, or correct assets like kit or logos...
Is simple to tell "..this roster are wrong, correct it" :kader:

I agree with that. Actually, I think its wrong to criticize OckHAM for his database, it was his creation so he can do with it what he wants, and there are so many people out there who would copy his work and then release it as their own. This thread is to suggest senegalations. What a waste of time carrying on about wanting to open his database. I think it is an excellent patch, the best ever in FIFA series, so lets get together and add to it to make even better.

If the CEP database had been built entirely from scratch then that might be a valid argument, but as it is it simply builds (extensively) on the work already done by EA Sports. The thing that worries me about all this is that EA might decide to encrypt the whole shebang to stop folk using their work and that would put a spanner in the works for those of us that would simply like to view the information that is there rather than changing it.

don't be so sure of that

Mexican Primera "A" has kits from guys that ockham didn't include in the credits.
Like this, there are a lot of guys complaining for not being included in the credits...it's a fraud.

besides, isn't that ilegal to use leagues you don't have the license for??'
isn't that ilegal to copyright another person copyrighted job???

- Re install FIFA 07
- Delete CEP from your PC
- Download Creation Master 07, Kit Raptor, Sound Master, and more tools
- Enjoy your own creations with no restrictions.

Ockham, good stuff mate.

One pretty big problem I have is this:



As you can see, Rooney is being played at forward and has taken a rating hit to 79. Also most of the other players have taken big rating drops even though they're being played in their natural position.

What's going on here? I'm also using NK's latest gameplay with a few tweaks to the CPUdiff.ini and the career.ini but those shouldn't affect the ratings in any way.

Time and time again Ockham has to repeat the same thing. If any of the people complaining actually did some research they would know that Ockham will be releasing an editable CEP07.

ALSO once again I'm only repeating what Ockham said over and over. BUT no one is forcing you to use this patch. If you dislike it so much just uninstall the patch and that's the end of that.

The FAQs on his site are there for a reason. Any questions about CEP can be answered there or in the appropriate thread on the CEP forum.

P.S. We all know there are many errors and problems with this patch. However, if you think about the reason CEP was created in a logical fashion you would come to realize that it was made to bring the users a more "realistic" game experience. Therefore, it goes without saying that there will be future versions of CEP07 that resolve whatever issues the CEP community can think of. (Or hopefully at least most of them) So with patience and maybe even a little more support for the CEP crew in general, all can be happy happy and wow I'm tired of typing. Rant End. :drevil:

Don't waste your time with this useless patch..the "creator" won't fix it unless he steals somebody else's creation as he usually does.

There's no need to flame. I always go by one rule. If you have the time to criticize someone in a "non-constructive" manner then ask yourself this. Do I myself have the skills to come close or surpass what this guy did? If you can say yes then feel free to create your own patch and share it with the world or if you're too lazy at least give some "constructive" criticism to Ockham and his crew because at least they are doing something.

If you can't or don't want to do anything then shut it. Beggars can't be choosers my friend. That's just the way the world works.

i don't have the skills to make such a patch, i do minor editing on fifa but i don't make patches using other people's stuff to make it appear as mine.

besides he is copyrighting a copyrighted game by EA Sports..he is commiting a robbery

Hey guys. I agree with some of you guys that Okham did make many mistakes in his patch. For example no roaster update done for national teams even though i've posted quite a number of updated international teams before in SG forum. You all can't blame Okham as his work shows that he don't know anything about football and doesn't have any general knowledge.(Don't even know Serbia and Montenegro are now 2 different teams...sigh!!!:) Who knows? Maybe at the next version of CEP, you will STILL see Pele playing in Brazil team alongside with Adriano and Fred and Argentina with Maradonna alongside with Crespo. ROFL :evil:

In the next CEP, you will simply see the Montenegro NAtional Team as well as the full Montenegro League
And you will find the full update of the rosters.
