Carlitos Tevez

Reserve Team
I'm a huge fan of Tevez, and he's defintly the player I try to emulate. He doesn't have the best footskills (he has good touch and control, but he's no thierry henry) and he isn't really that fast (by professional standards), but what he does is he works really hard, and he never gives up.

There's all this hype about the next Maradona. But learn one thing.

THERE ONLY ONE MARADONA. No one will ever be as he was.

Carlitos Tevez is more of a forward. Great player in him. But this "next Maradona" tag he was given only does bad to his career. El Pibe's ghost is no easy task to handle.

I think you are mistaken...Tevez is better than Robinho because he is a more complete player. While Robinho has very good ball skills, he lacks strength which is vital in todays soccer. Tevez has a good combination of ball skills and he is a very strong player, knows how to use his body very well to protect the ball...He is also very good at defining plays...

Correct. There's only one Maradona. Just like there's only one Pele, etc.

I wish people would stop this whole comparison shlt. Kinda disrespectful too...

Half of the promising South American players turn out to be sh*t or not as good as expected so I'm happy that we didn't spend that money on him. *cough* D'Alessandro *cough*
He's not ****e. I think he's not playing up to his best at Germany, but still, he's far from being ****e. Just watch some Argentina games and you'll see.

Robinho can gain muscles, and with the ball he's better than Tevez. He's becoming a good striker too, 15 goals already in the Brazilian Championship, with 20 games to go (or something along these lines). If he gains the strength Kaka gained, he'll be a world class striker in a few years.

Carlos Tevez will be so expensive soon that only Chelski will be able to afford him. :crazyboy:

I can't wait to see him tommorow against Paraquay. He will demolish them.

And comparing anyone with a legend like Maradona or Pele is stupid. In fact ,all comparisons are unneccessary.
There's only one Maradona ,Pele ,van Basten etc.
Just like there will be only one Carlos Tevez when he finishes his career and someone else comes along who will be compared to him. It's only a burden.

I know what you mean, but we are comparing Robinho and Tevez at the moment, not in a couple of years or couple of months ;)

I do, but Tevez is on fire too...It's a tough choice but what I am saying is that Tevez at the moment is a better all around player, he has physical strength which Robinho lacks, but I am sure that Robinho will fix that when he goes into some big European team...:)
