I think he has the ability to create for himself, create for others, and score goals. I think in his first year in europe he has a chance at being a player with about 15 goals and just as many assists. He isn't a pure goal scorer so i think he would be a great fit for Man U with Ruud. He would create great support for Ruud playing behind him. Rooney can create for himself but not the way Tevez can and Tevez's ball skills IMO are superior to that of Rooney. Man I hope Juve get him with Trez struggling and Del Piero getting old and out of form he would bring new life to Trez by creating more chances and better support then Del Piero could ever. THIS KID IS ONLY 19!!! Still shocking by the way he is playing.

They didn't accept a €18M offer.

Half of the promising South American players turn out to be sh*t or not as good as expected so I'm happy that we didn't spend that money on him. *cough* D'Alessandro *cough*

D'Allessandro is sh*t? He hasn't been at his best in Germany but he is still talented.

BTW Tevez is definately better than Rooney. I hope that Mancini requests for him in the future.

waiting for the tired 'why, so he can ruin his career' response

but seriously, if theres one more thing Inter needs, its more strikers.

He's really good, although before I'd rather stay with the strikers we've got.
I know this sounds biased (and is) but I reckon Bentley has a great future in the gama and put him alongside with Reyes, Henry, Van Persie and (if he's ever fit:rolleyes: ) Aliadiere

Anyone could see that D'Alessandro's move to Germany was bad.

German football doesn't suit Andres, I doubt that Germany would be bad for Tevez also.

tevez rules, he is so underrated

the press always writes about rooney, but where is the love for carlito?

i am surprised he is not in europe yet

The press doesn´t write much about Tevez because the most prestigious football press is in Europe. I bet the South American press gives him all the atention he deserves. Im sure that when Tevez comes to Europe, he will achieve great status and will end all this under rated crap. Tevez is great and i have no doubts that he will impress much more in comparisson with Saviola. But he is no Maradona. Maradona in my opinion was the best player in the world and i doubt that anyone will reach or achieve what he has done.

Are you kidding Me?? I guess you need to open your eyes when you watch soccer because he is a very good player...his one-touch passes, through balls, and feints are superb...please a little more respect :)

For some reason I see him playing in an English team since the Premier League has a very fast paced soccer that would suit his one-touch passes and through balls...I'm really not too enthusiastic about German soccer..

I'm not sure what size has to do with anything... anyways, wasn't Maradona also short?
In my opinion and in most people's opinion who do know about futbol, Tevez is way better than Cavenaghi. Not that Cavenaghi sucks, but there's just no comparison.

By the way, Tevez scored his 7th goal today in the Olympics going on to beat Italy 3-0. Now its going to be an all South American final for the Olympics gold... anybody surprised? I'm not. ;)

Carlos Tevez has been an important factor in the Argentina NT adn ever since Copa America I've been paying close attention to this guy. He's really talented and seeing him in Spain would be cool.

P.S. Imagine D'Alessandro playing for Arsenal. Wow. Never gonna happen though. :o :D

Rosales is better :rockman: Ajax wants him...

Wow! Ajax must have the best scouts in the entire world!!!!

Rosales would be a sweet steal by Ajax. He's a great mid winger who just loves to score as much as any striker out there! I remember in the game against Peru in this past Copa America, he tore the Peruvian defenders (Hidalgo and Vilchez) apart! His ball handling and dribbling skills are amazing for a kid his age. His speed is also a plus... he reminds me somewhat of an Overmars, but playing on the right. Excellent young prospect!

But, back to the thread topic.... Rosales, as good as he is, he's definately not better than Tevez either! :p
