Career Mode Tweaks

Just tested on 2 career modes, it hangs on July 31st with Moddingway patch. If you could please check that out, i can't see why it does that? It doesn't crash, just hangs on Simming

I don't play with the Moddingway patch myself. Could you please try the following steps to see if it solve the problem:
- Open cmsettings.ini
- Change the following line from:
CALSTART_YEAR = 2013
to
CALSTART_YEAR = 2012
- Regenerate
- You properly need to delete your Settings inside the Documents folder
- Start a new career

why does player wage is so high???

can you make saudi league friendlies normal? starts in august instead july, already told you that
i don't know if you changed this in 4.3

If you still having problems, than it is not fixed. I don't play any team in the Saudi League, does it start in the correct date when playing without my mod (e.g. original gameplay)? You could also try to change the CM start year (see above).

I´ve got the same Problem with Moddingway Mod.

Change the Start Date to 2012 does not solve the Problem.

Hi,

I notice there is alot of things that can be edited and seems most is geared towards Manager mode style play (which is fine and works great).

I was interested if anyone was aware of what files/values are involved with how your expected rates for your career season are being pulled from/calculated for be a pro career?

I notice that when in different positions and most def defender the expected rates can go from 6.0 / 6.5 (do able) to 9.0! Now for a defender you get slammed hard if any goals go in and like GK its pretty much impossible to keep an average rating as high as 9. But I also have played CDM and rated can drop to 6.0.

I know there is some logic with position/form of player if its existing or new created player at career start. But I just wondered if there was a place to find where the game gets this manager expected overalls from for player each year start or even if you transfer out and get the new expected for new team (which can vary) so maybe it could be capped for certain positions, unless your a striker very high rating expected overalls are impossible esp if you have ever tried being GK or defender.

I know this is Be A Pro but as that's a career 'mode' has anyone ever fiddled with that area and seen where such values/algorithm would be stored?

and extract cmsettings.ini to FIFA 13\Game\dlc\dlc_FootballCompEng\dlc\FootballCompEng\data
edit it
MAX_MONTHS_FOR_SHORT_LOAN = 6
MAX_MONTHS_FOR_SEASON_LOAN = 12
use the above mention program to regenerate.

I use moddingway but not any Db's just Fidel/Immersion Db's and manually selecting what i want from the mods than using its launcher. I found I also get constant crash on generating a career. I tried the Db's I mention here and crashed on both, set that line to 2012 and problem solved. I regenerated already so I just edit line save/load .. generate career, by doing this test for 2 different DB's that calendar year line always crashes for me on setting it to 2013.

Strange, I wonder why that's the case? Not a show stopper, nice to have it current year, but as long as it works.

Sorry not possible. If you change it, all loans will be 2 seasons.

Edit: Edited the line to start in 2012 and it still hangs on July 31st

For me, this edit works with the Moddingway patch, but I issued a lot of bugs when trying to forward days in the calendary, in career mode, during the mercato.

Well, here's how to disable it.
Just set "PLAY_RADIO_ON_SIM" to 0 in cmsettings.ini

I've got a weird problem using this, apparently in my youth setup, the scouts are finding players with ages ranging from 12 to 20. That's good of course, but the weird thing is their height. Some can be as tall as 284 cm, and some, including goalkeepers, can be as short as 113cm! This is kinda weird, and this also affects the weight, with some of them having only 40+kg.. Is this a problem, or is this patch supposed to be like this? :X

Oh lol, it was that easy to disable internationals?

I'll have to try that later and I don't really care if it disables international games completely.

I just want to increase age player will start retire (like 38+) and get ride of the message "you cant approach a retiring player" so I can at least try to sign in.
Its possible to change appearance of youth squad players? I mean boots, untucked shirts, etc.
