An attempt to get players injured?
I wish it was... and I wish it was Ronaldo the one to go back home for a month...

Who is F.C. Luzern anyways ?
What, you don't know the mighty Luzern? They're awesome, though not really Thun level...

Actually, they were just promoted to the swiss top division. Also, it wasn't actually FC Luzern as they got one or two players from other clubs to play this match...

That would be such a thrill if you were just some marginal player in the Swiss Second Division and you get to play a match against Brazil right before the World Cup. It would be like a 90 minute dream. I'm sure no one on the team is really beating themselves up about the score.

well if you dont agree Kaka's greater than Ronnie, he sure was tonight, no? :(

neways, anyone have a clip of the Ronnie corner? that was just too rare. a collectors item. (H)

And oh, Juninho's goal was out of this world! You cant really blame the keeper for being off the line. Usually Juninho's freekick bounce in front of the keeper so I guess the keeper did do some research. He just didnt do enough. Haha.

Watching Brazil in a friendly usually sucks since they dont care. But last night was great.

Robinho should start. I dont know ahead of who though. His goal was outrageous as well.

Can I just ask, what is the point of this friendly? We all know this isn't really going to benefit Brazil, it's not even a challenge. I've never even heard of this team.
seconded. At least play against some fluffer national team that might provide half a challenge. Why would they bother with something so absurdly easy?

I think Robinho should be ahead of Ronaldo, he adds so much more IMO.
I think so too, after all, Adriano and Ronaldo play a similar style... but Ronaldo is a player Parreira (and about the entire brazilian population) have an immense trust in, after his heroics in Korea/Japan. If Robinho really goes on to play, Adriano will be dropped...

I wish Robinho scored that goals with Madrid
Get Madrid to play the second division in Switzerland... Actually, he did score a lot in the Brazilian league too...

I mean he isn't usually that accurate in medium distance shots, and that doesn't depend on the rival.

why do brazil play test-their-form matches against crappy teams like this? sure, they win, but that doesn't say they are in good shape. any team in the WC would beat that team

Brazil is very strong for attacking play, but their defensive players are nothing special. teams that play a succesfull counter attack against brazil can knock-out this dream team ..
