Black Face Bug - Special Face turning black for substitutes

Hi all, any face maker experts aware of the following issue and how to fix it?

I manually updated (correctly) some face packs in CM10 for Roma.
(Toni, Vucinic, Menez, Motta, Cassetti, Doni).

The faces of the starting eleven always show no issues. However when i substitute in 2nd half for instance Toni (out) for Okaka (in) and Menez (out) for Cerci (in), their faces show issues:

Okaka (non-special face) turns fully black, Cerci (also non-special) Yellow.
Tried the same with bringing in Baptista for Toni or Vucinic (special face): his Face gets striped.

The other way around also gives issues: Starting with Okaka and substituting him for Toni makes Toni go full black.

It's always the second substitute, or in the case of two substitutes brought in together.

Again, setup is done correctly from .o models to the harir TGA's and the textures.
Anyone able to help a hand here what goes wrong? Something to do with too many special faces maybe in the match to upload without issues?

same probleme for me. only in fifa10. I think is because of lighting values. I think fifa 10 does not permit to edit the lightings (turf, etc ...) without this kind of bug ...
till now none of us find a solution :(

Small update: Did some trial and error and changing some paramters, and found out that the change in colour of the face is the SHOES which are glowing over the Face.
maybe black boots turn into black face. But I had Yellow standard shoes for Cerci, and Cerci's face turned yellow. I changed his boot to a white one, and his face turns into normal colour but with black stripes version i saw wrong with Baptista, as described above.
Could you also try to zoom in and see if youn can recognise the shoes over or under the face texture?

im using vista ultimate, & i have not had this issue, if it happens i will find a way to fix it.

to the thread creator, 1 thread for 1 issues not 2 for the same issue.
this thread is in 2 sub forums here, & thats a no no.

Yep i know, you're right. I'll delete the other thread, and keep this one.
Would be great if you find out what's wrong.

There's a Juventus facepack from Nano4 around, which has a bonus pack which contains the Jérémy Ménez facefiles. Maybe you can have a try installing him and see if the issue occurs with you as well. The other one is the strikers pack going around which contains Luca Toni.

By now i tried tweeking with some other .o-models than the ones provided in the packs.
Found out that the issue did not occur when using other .o models from other players.
I kept the face textures, and hair TGA's in place. So pretty sure it's really the .o models in these packs which are not ok.

Given that most of the faces pack are files that you have to install manually, are you sure to compress .o file and fsh texture, and NOT compress tga files?
And are you sure to regenerate properly?

I have to say it happens to me too, and i install them correctly with FileM10... after substitutions some of the faces become black
