Parker has just wasted his time in going to Chelsea.

Yeah, what a brilliant move by Parker to go to Chelsea lol. Now he'll NEVER see the light of day, when he had a pretty good gig going back in birmingham (i think that's where he played earlier, correct me if im wrong) and could've helped them, but nope.

for that price Abramovich should just throw in a few more million, buy FC Porto and freely transfer between the clubs.

Mourinho hints at Chelsea switch

LONDON, May 7 (Reuters) - Jose Mourinho and his agent have given the strongest hint yet that the Porto coach will be taking charge of Chelsea.

"Chelsea are a great club, so of course it interests me, but nothing has been signed or agreed yet. That would be unfair to Porto," Mourinho told British newspapers on Friday.

"I am still committed to Porto because anything less would mean we would not be ready for the Champions League (final against Monaco on May 26). We have to be professional.

"But I am an ambitious man and I have taken Porto a long way and now I'm ready for a new challenge. Managing in the premier league has always appealed to me."

Jorge Mendes, Mourinho's agent, said it was likely his client would be leaving Portugal for London.

"Jose is probably going to Chelsea. We cannot say any more," Mendes told the Daily Express newspaper on Friday.

Chelsea coach Claudio Ranieri said on Tuesday he expected to leave the Stamford Bridge club at the end of the season.

Ranieri's team were held to a 2-2 home draw by Monaco in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final on Wednesday, a result which earned the French club a 5-3 aggregate win and a final clash with Porto in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.

Newcastle have already done that.

Well i've already talked about this in other thread but for some foreign people i say one thing, this 90 million euros for all this players are not a waste of money, far away from that, the problem is that Porto (and speccially our President) don't want to destroy the team selling all this important players so i think this won't happen for sure, Porto will sell no more than 2 players when the season ends, believe me cause that's the policy of our club. ;)

I like Porto the way they are right now and if Abramovic does buy those 4 players + the coach, it will take a looooong time before Porto finds themselves back as Champions League Final material. After all, in football, the main point is to win, win championships and if Porto already have a good enough team to do so, why should any amount of money sell their team?

You're already good enough, don't do it Porto...

I think that way and probably our president too, the money can't buy everything...

Look what I found:

Porém, tudo depende do futuro do holandês Kluivert e do argentino Saviola dentro do Barça.

It is from a brazilian site and it says that Chelsea are set to spend 90 million euros alone on Dinho...

...rummors:rolleyes:

i have no respect for chelsea at all, their such a fake club. all this money and they didnt earn any of it :kader: they should make a new rule in football that teams can only spend say 50 million a year? or they should ban people as wealthy as roman abramovich taking over little teams like chelsea and giving them world class players.

I wouldn't call it the death of Porto... Costinha is 29 he'd have to be replaced in a few years anyway, Paulo Ferreira is a rock but Hugo Ibarra (Monaco's right back on loan from Porto) has been good this season and may return if Ferreira leaves, Deco is known to want to join a major club in a better league for like 2 years now. All of them would be good for Chelsea. I think Maniche would be waste of cash because although he is an unquestionable good midfielder, Lampard is pretty much the same if not slightly better. Plus 70 million € would allow Porto to build an even more balanced team if well managed next year.

Yeah, both teams are having much similar runs...

The deal won't happen. Our club needs money to ballance the bills, but all the cash we got from the CL this season plus selling one player and our coach will be more than enough. If Pinto da Costa feels he has enough money to run the club I'm 100% sure he won't let go anyone else.
My tip to leave is obviously Deco. I thought he'd go to Barça, but Ronaldinho has been great this season, so a Chelsea move is not out of order.
- Maniche leaving? I rate Lampard slightly higher than Maniche (with both being absolutely terrific), so why would Chelsea need him?
- Costinha leaving? Same as above, but with Makelele.
- And what about Paulo Ferreira? Remember when, some months ago, the kid was chosen by UEFA.com as the best RB in europe and we all discussed if he deserved it or not? Well, most of the critics just said 'Paulo who?'. I think now nobody disputes the fact that Ferreira is indeed one of the best RBs of the world and has a place in any team. I wouldn't be surprised if he left the club for some big bucks...

Hopefully none of this will happen and we keep the same team for next year.
Why doesn't Roman just use his goddamn money to do something good to the planet Earth instead? Dude, just buy Africa some medicine or something.

Deco + Ferreira for anything under 80 million is practically robbery. I would spend a 100 mill for Ferreira alone, the best defender in Europe, tons of talent.

I couldn't agree more, everything u said was damn right. ;)

Unfortunatelly for Abramovich dealing with Pinto da Costa(Porto's president) is not easy so i believe our key players will stay in the club, Deco is the only one that can leave IMO, it's not that i want him to leave but it will be very difficult(not to say impossible) to make him stay at Porto, at least he would bring us some millions of euros. :mrpimp:
