"FC Bayern sollte Zidane verpflichten"

Unbelievable, but anything can happen.

We better get one of the boys:
Ribery / Behrami / Zidane

Karimi is out, Lucio and Demichelis are both doubtful.

Under normal circumstances, anything else than a defeat would be a surprise to me. But the way the media taunted Bayern in the past couple of days ("Poldi has experience in relegation battle", "Bayern rock bottom after matchday 1?" etc.) the players will be keen to prove the critics wrong.

Haha, "Poldi has experience in relegation battle." That's pretty funny.

Zidane? Eh, I'm not sure. If he actually came here (probably 1% chance) I would welcome him, but I'm just not sure about what he would do better than Hargreaves. He's a bit more creative, but I think his body might not allow him to play so many games.

Fergie Will Owen Up
Owen Hargreaves has emerged as a shock £7million transfer target for Manchester United. Manager Sir Alex Ferguson has identified the Bayern Munich midfielder as his next transfer target. Fergie was impressed with the way Hargreaves, 25, performed at the World Cup and has earmarked him for the midfield holding role.

10 million for Owen? British humour :funny:

New rumor: Guti is available and might become an option if we have problems tonight.

Klose said it's his dream to play in a top foreign league one day. He will definitely stay this year but probably wants out if the right offer comes in 2007. He only has three or four clubs in mind (apparently Barca, Madrid, Chelsea, ManU) and if those are not interested there's a good chance he will finish his career in Bremen.
I hope he stays in Germany but I can understand his desire to play for a top club in the last years of his career. I think he's smart enough to see that the likes of Newcastle, Roma etc. would actually be a downgrade.

1-0 Makaay
2-0 Schweini

FC Bayern - Borussia Dortmund 2:0 (1:0)
FC Bayern: Kahn – Sagnol, Lucio, van Buyten, Lahm – Salihamidzic (90. dos Santos), Ottl, Hargreaves, Schweinsteiger (85. Scholl) – Makaay (88. Podolski), Santa Cruz

Borussia Dortmund: Weidenfeller - Degen (66. Odonkor), Brzenska, Metzelder, Dede - Kruska, Kehl (19. Sahin, 78. Smolarek), Pienaar, Kringe - Frei, Valdez

Kahn MoM, some great saves.
Makaay looked like his old self again.
Hargreaves, as usual, was all over the pitch but made some mistakes.
Ottl will be a decent squad player, looked very calm.

Oh, and after the game Hoeness gave an interview. He's sure Ribery is staying at Marseille this season and when asked whether Lyon are favourites to sign him he had a huge grin on his face and replied "no, surely not". Bayern will do everything to bring him to Germany next year.

The national anthem was played before the match and if I saw it correctly Brazzo sang it. (H)

Don't cheer so fast mates. There is still Werder to play. I think our biggest threat will be them once again.

There's still two months time till the Bremen game.
I'm worried about the Barca game on the 22nd. We're gonna get killed if we allow half the amount of chances like in the Dortmund game.
Our nt players are away again for a friendly during the week. :nape:
